Beautiful blond guys; easy Wednesday for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

When it comes to young men, I tend to like guys with dark hair and eyes, and fair skin. That’s just always been my type. But I can appreciate the appeal of a Nordic-type blond guy with blue eyes, and none more than former fashion model Alan Carey, whom you see to the left here.

Several years ago, I had posted a couple of photos of Alan wearing nothing but a pair of skimpy white briefs. The photos were taken on a building’s rooftop, and were probably part of Alan’s tryout for a modeling position with a firm.

Anyway, a few years later, I received a very pleasant and articulate message from Alan, informing me that he was in the process of obtaining his bachelor’s degree in business, and asking that I take the photos down, as they wouldn’t help things when he applied for jobs in the corporate world. Of course, I granted his request immediately, and wished him the best. I wonder how Alan’s doing today?

Yes, I am posting late today, as I had a very busy morning, here at the house, and then I had to dash of to the YMCA so I could swim my laps before doing my workout in the fitness center. It all went well at the Y, as I got my own lap lane in the pool. And there was some excellent eye candy in the gym for me to enjoy.

Speaking of eye candy, isn’t the guy to the left here cute? He has such beautiful skin and hair, and  nice blue eyes, but he looks a bit stressed. Did he have an argument with his boyfriend?

On my way home I had to visit the office that issues toll road passes, because mine wasn’t working the past few days. The girl behind the counter was very helpful and she got everything straightened out, so I am good to go on toll roads again. 🙂 Now I’m home and ready for a relaxing evening. I have tasty leftovers for my dinner, and a nice bottle of white wine to go with them.

Have a great Wednesday, everyone.

Another boyfriend in bed; fun evening in store for Martin

Hi, friends and readers:

In keeping with today’s “boyfriend in your bed” theme, I’m posting the photo to the left, which I find enchanting. I love the model’s strawberry blond hair and delicate facial features. Definitely boyfriend material.

Well, I have a fun evening in store. My friend and I will dine on Asian fusion cuisine at a downtown restaurant, and then we’ll see the Disney movie Aladdin. Now, Disney films are not my preferred genre, but I understand this one’s pretty good, and the guy who plays Aladdin is a total babe. Plus, I always enjoy Will Smith’s acting, whether it’s a serious role or a funny one.

Have a nice Tuesday night, everyone. And if you have a boyfriend, be sure to spend some time snuggling with him when bedtime rolls around. 🙂

A boyfriend in your bed. What could be better?

Hi, friends and readers:

Without question, the best part of having a live-in boyfriend is falling asleep in his arms, and waking up next to him in the morning. It’s what I miss most, now that I am living single. But who knows, maybe I’ll find another partner I can snuggle with. I mean, I’d certainly enjoy lying beneath the sheets with Mr. Blue Eyes to the left here. Imagine kissing those lips? Aye-yi-yi …. 😉

I had a restless night, waking up at four AM and reading until six before I finally fell back asleep. Of course, that meant I slept until nine AM, which got me off to a slow start for my Tuesday, but that’s okay. It’s too stinking hot to do anything outdoors, and I have plenty to do inside: editing my almost completed novel-in-progress, taking care of correspondence, and cleaning a bit.

Oh, how would you like to walk into your bedroom to find Mr. Checkered Shirt to the left here, lying on your mattress and beckoning you? Would you join him? Of course you would. Imagine running your gingers through his wavy hair while your lips pressed against his. Oh, yes ….. 😉

A home inspector is due here in about an hour, to check out my roof and electrical system, in hopes I can get my home insurance premiums reduced. Other than that, I have no obligations until early this evening, when a good friend and I will dine out before attending a movie. We do this most weeks, and it’s always a good time.

Have a great Tuesday, friends.

Another Tom Daley photo; quiet night in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I love the way Tom Daley doesn’t take himself too seriously, despite his athletic prowess and his smashing good looks. Every time I gaze at the photo to the left, I laugh. And who wouldn’t give Tom a lift if he were hitching a ride? (“I’ll take you anywhere you want to go, Tom. Just hop in, and we’re off.”  😉

Well, I tried out my new YMCA summer schedule today, and it worked like a charm. I got my own lap lane, right after I arrived around 12:45 PM. After I swam my quarter-mile, I worked out in the fitness center, and walked out the door around 2:30 PM, feeling relaxed and refreshed.

On my way home, I hit the wine store and supermarket, and now I’ve put everything away. My fridge and cupboards are stocked for the week. I have leftover for my dinner tonight, and I’ll likely watch a Netflix movie.

Have a nice Monday night, friends.

Beautiful Tom Daley; typical Monday in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Whenever someone asks me to name my favorite athlete, I always tell them it’s British Olympic diver Tom Daley, whose photos you see posted here. And it’s not just because Tom is sexy. It’s also because he’s a genuinely nice person who serves as a great role model for gay boys and men all over the world. Imagine having the courage to come out as gay while you’re competing at the level Tom does? He’s an amazing guy.

We love you, Tom. 🙂

I was up a little before nine this morning, after spending my Sunday evening at home, watching a Netflix movie and dining on leftovers. I went to be around 11:30 PM and zonked right out.

Here’s another great photo of Tom, taken during a diving competition. I wonder if he’s waving to his husband, Lance?

It’s another scorching hot day, here on the island, so warm that it’s unpleasant to venture outside. I’ll be visiting the YMCA this afternoon, at a  time 30 minutes earlier than I usually go. Summer camp is in session at the Y, so I have to swim my laps when I first get there, then work out in the fitness center. On my way back home, I’ll need to visit the wine market and supermarket, to re-stick after the weekend.

All right, everyone, I need to get moving, so I will wish all of you a wonderful Monday, wherever you might be today. And keep smiling like Tom Daley does, it’s important. 🙂

One more boy and a swimming pool; quiet night in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Like I said this morning, swimming pools mean a lot to us Floridians, especially during heat waves like we are experiences right now. Plus, there’s nothing better than gazing at a slender young man in a Speedo-style suit. Who could resist the boy in the photo to the left? Not me …. 😉

The weather was so stinking hot today that I stayed inside in the a/c most all day. I worked intensely on final revisions to my novel-in-progress, and I hope to submit it to my publisher this week, maybe by Wednesday.

I’ll spend a quiet evening at home tonight. I have plenty of leftovers from my date/dinner Friday night, and a Netflix movie to finish watching, so I’ll be good. It’s nice and cool in my place, and I have a tasty bottle of Sauvignon blanc to enjoy with my evening meal.

Have a nice Sunday night, friends.

Boys and swimming pools. When will this heat wave end?

Hi, friends and readers:

Here in central Florida, we love our swimming pools, especially during summer when the average high temperature reaches 90 degrees and the humidity makes things muggy. A pool is about the only comfortable place you can find outdoors. Plus sometimes the sights at certain pools can be lovely.

Wouldn’t you like to take a swim with on the guys in today’s photo posts? Pool side, you could rub sunscreen onto their backs and shoulders while trying to coax them up to your hotel room. Yummy …. 😉

I spent a thoroughly pleasant evening with one of my oldest friends. We visited a beach bar to listen to a live band who were really good. I drank a coupe of beers while there. Then we returned to my friend’s house, where he cooked up a steak and twice-baked potatoes I’d brought. He also sauteed fresh asparagus, which made for a tasty meal. Afterward, we did some more planning for the Montana/Wyoming trip we’ll make later this month, and then I drove home. I savored a glass of wine on my back porch, and by midnight I was in bed, snoozing away.

It’s another scorching hot day, here on the island. These abnormally high temperatures, teamed with a total lack of rainfall, is making me depressed. It’s too damned hot to do anything outdoors, other than soak in a swimming pool. So, maybe I’ll do that this this afternoon or this evening.

Have a nice Sunday, everyone.

Beautiful Greyson Chance; scorching hot day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

A couple of weeks ago, I posted photos of singer/pianist Greyson Chance on this site, and people really liked them. I came across some new ones yesterday, and I decided to share them with you. I first saw Greyson perform on TV when he was 12, but now he’s 19 and no longer a boy. He’s also out as gay, and I’m sure by now he has a boyfriend. Does anyone know?

My date yesterday went well. He was younger than I expected–only 21–but very mature for his age, and quite intelligent, so I think I may have found a new friend I can see from time to time.

After he left, around nine PM, I spent the rest of my evening at home, listening to music and drinking a few glasses of wine. Then I hit the bed to read for a while.

I slept in late this morning, probably due to last night bedroom activities. 😉 And I don’t have much planned for my afternoon, other than walking three miles on the beach, if we get a sea breeze blowing. It’s hot as hell outside today, and I’m not visiting the shore without some air movement.

I’m having dinner at my buddy’s place so we can do more planning for our Montana/Wyoming trip later this month. We’ll visit a beach bar before dining, to hear some live music. Always fun ….

Have a n ice Saturday, everyone.

Hot boys at the beach; Martin has a date today ….

Hi, friends and readers:

If you follow this site then you know I live in a beach community of Florida’s west coast. The Gulf of Mexico and a white sand beach are 100 yards form my front door, and I visit the shore frequently, to take long walks and swim in the placid water. It’s a beautiful place, and most days, when I take a walk, I’ll encounter handsome young guys form our local colleges, running around in swim trunks and little else.

Yesterday I took a three mile walk on the shore, and I saw a few guys who stole my breath, they were so handsome. Aye-yi-yi …. 😉

I was up around 8:30 this morning, and after a quick breakfast, I sat down at the keyboard with a cup of coffee. I worked on revisions o my novel-in-progress, which is just about ready for submission to my publisher. I’ve worked on the book for ten months, and that’s a long time for me. But I’m delighted with the result.

Today will be a special one for me, because I have a date with a guy I’ met online. We’ve traded instant messages for a few weeks now, but this will be the first time we’ve met in person. He seems like a sweet and intelligent guy. He’s considerably younger than me, but our age difference doesn’t seem to matter to him. He’s visiting me place around three PM and we’ll go for a swim, maybe take a walk along the shore while we get acquainted.

I’m preparing a nice meal for us this evening. He has an early flight tomorrow, so he asked me if we could dine a bit earlier than normal, so I guess we’ll sit down for dinner around 6:30 PM. Yeah, I’m a little bit nervous, but that’s to be expected.

Wish me luck, guys, and have a great Friday, wherever you are today.

Another Dylan Dauzat pic; Martin’s home and ready for bed ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Yes, Dylan Dauzat’s a brainless douche bag, but he’s so cute. We’ll overlook his lack of talent or smarts. Hell, I’d spend a day on a boat with him any day. 😉

I had a splendid evening with my friend, Larry, and now I am back on the island. I’m a little tired, as I took a lovely three-mile walk on the beach this afternoon. The breeze coming off the Gulf felt great, and the sand was soft but firm. 🙂

I’m tired, after a long day taking care of business. I have a date tomorrow, and I am making dinner for us. We’ll visit the beach before we dine, and I’m excited. He seems like a nice guy, plus he has the prettiest blue eyes.

Have a nice night, friends.
