Cute guys with freckles; busy morning for Martin, but lazy afternoon/evening ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I don’t know why, but I find freckles on a cute young man very sexy, I guess because they lend him a boyish flair that I find charming. How could resist kissing the guy to the left here? Certainly not me. 😉

I was up early this morning because I had to make an hour and fifteen minute drive to north Tampa to have an injection into a portion of my left hand. Thankfully, traffic was not heavy and I cruised over there and back.

My hand, of course, is quite swollen and tender after the injection, and I won’t be able to do any manual or go to the gym for a least five or six days. Yeah, it’s a pain in the ass, but the injection was necessary to prevent contracture on my left small finger. (Getting old is so much fun ….)

Because of my hand situation, I’ll have to take it easy today. After I finish this post, I will put on my swim trunks and straw hat, and I’ll take a three-mile walk on the beach for some exercise. But I won’t go in the water for fear of infecting the injection sites on my hand. ‘

I don’t have much planned for my evening. I have leftovers from the dinner I had at my friend’s house down the road. We visited a beach bar to listen to excellent live music played by a string band, the dined on steak and potatoes I brought with me. Since I can’t do much physically, I’ll probably read or watch a Netflix movie.

Have a nice Monday, friends. 🙂

Shirtless and sexy; gloomy morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

You know, there are some guys who should simply never wear a shirt, except perhaps to church or when dining at a restaurant. I mean, have a look at Mr. Blue Shorts to the left here: broad shoulders, nice skin and rippling abs. Perfection ….. 😉

Well we went off Daylight Savings Time today, and this always makes me feel weird because I think it’s later than it really is. After all the yard work and painting I did yesterday, I was exhausted last night, and I ended up going to bed around 10 PM. I slept this morning until almost nine, and I needed the rest.

I woke to gloomy skies, but at least the temperature’s in the low 70’s, which is good because I have some more yard work and painting to do today, and at least I won’t be sweating. I’ll run to Home Depot for more mulch this morning, and visit the supermarket on my way home.

By the way, do you find Mr. Scooter to the left here as appealing as I do? I wonder how he avoids messing up his perfect hair when he puts on that helmet?

Anyway, I may try to take a two-mile run, later today, if I am not too tired from my labors. Then I’m having dinner with a boyhood friend who lives in a beach community near mine. We’ll visit a beach bar to listen to some live music, and then it’s my turn to buy dinner.

Have a nice Sunday, friends.

Hot guys on boats; cool weather has arrived on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I live on an island in the Tampa Bay area. The Gulf of Mexico is 100 yards from my front door and I could throw a stone into the Intracoastal Waterway from my front yard, so I am surrounded by water. Boating is huge here, and one thing I’ve noticed is this: when you put a young man on a boat in good weather, he immediately sheds most of his clothing, or if the setting is private, all of his clothing. 😉

How would you like to spend a day on the water with either guy in today’s photo posts?

I spent a quiet night at home yesterday. I dined on leftovers from the Greek restaurant, and I watched an excellent Netflix film titled The Rider, about a young rodeo star who is seriously injured and can’t ride broncos or bulls anymore. It was a very quiet and beautifully acted film, and I’m glad I watched it.

Today will be a busy one for me. Yesterday, after I left the YMCA, I visited Home Depot to purchase mulch, plants and potting soil. I have three outdoor plants I need to pot for my patios, and I also need to spread about six bags of mulch to complete my fall mulching. At four PM my Florida Gators play Missouri, and then I may have a date tonight, so I’ll stay active all day and night. That’s a good thing, right?

Yesterday, we had some severe weather with high winds and lots of rain, and now cool weather has moved into central Florida. A breeze is blowing from the northeast and the high today will only be 70 degrees F. It’s about damned time fall arrived here, and the cool and dry weather will make outdoor work easier.

All right, friends, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a delightful Saturday, wherever you might be today. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂

Sexy guys in Speedo swimsuits; gloomy morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Nothing flatters the physique of an athletic young man like a Speedo-style swimsuit. The suit leaves little to the imagination, but it’s still a bit of a tease. I think our friend to the left here looks great in his light blue Speedo, don’t you? I wonder if he’ll be swimming laps in the YMCA pool when I am there today?

I spent a pleasant evening with my oldest friend last night. We dined on Greek takeout that was excellent, and I had plenty of leftovers for today’s lunch and tonight’s dinner. What could be better? I got homer around nine PM and it wasn’t long before I went to bed.

I woke to the sound of rain tapping on my metal roof, around 8:30 this morning. It’s quite gloomy outside, and it’s supposed to remain that way all day, but that’s okay. e can’t expect sunshine all the time, even in Florida.

Now, have a look at Mr. Tousled Hair to the left here. He’s a handsome guy with a willowy physique that is just my taste in men. I wonder what sort of competition he participates in?

I don’t have a lot on my plate for today, other than visiting the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. Yesterday I completed the last of my painting project in my vacation rental. I also laid down six bags of mulch in my patios, and ran two miles, here on the island. So I’ve pretty much taken care of thing around here for the time being.

As mentioned, I will dine on leftovers for my dinner tonight, and I have a Netflix rental to enjoy, so I am set.

All right, everyone, I need to fix my lunch and pack for the YMCA, so I’d best get moving. Have a nice Friday, everyone.

Guys with amazing butts; busy day ahead for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I’ve been in two long-term relationships with men, and both guys had one thing in common–amazing butts. I can’t help myself, I’m a devotee of the male rear end. What’s more tempting that a pair of smooth, firm and rounded cheeks, like those on display in the photos I have posted here this morning. I mean, look at this guy to the left here. Who could resist squeezing his glutes? Answer–no one …. 😉

I had a very pleasant dinner out last night, with two of my oldest friends. I had chicken parmigiana with pasta and a salad. I split a nice bottle of chilled Italian white wine with one guy, and it all made for a tasty meal.

Most of our conversation revolved around next week’s mid-term Congressional elections and our state elections as well. All three of us tend toward the left end of the political spectrum, so we were pretty much in agreement on who we will vote for on Tuesday.

I got to bed fairly early last night, and woke up this morning at 7:30. I made a simple breakfast for myself, then got busy writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress. Now it’s 11:30 AM and I am done writing for the day. In just about fifteen minutes, I will take a two-mile run, here on the island. I normally run in late afternoon,. but I have a lot to do at my property today, and if I wait until four PM to run I’ll probably be too tired to get out the door.

My goal today is to complete a painting project in my vacation rental apartment next door. I’ve been working on the project for a few weeks now, off and on, and it’s time to finish.

Once I am done painting, I need to put down eucalyptus mulch in several plant beds on my property, since I cleaned out the beds on Tuesday afternoon. The place will look a lot better when I am done, and I’ll surely be tired, but not too tired to spend the evening with my oldest friend in the world. Every Thursday, we drink a few beers and gab. Then we get takeout for our dinner, since my friend doesn’t like restaurants.

Have an nice Thursday, friends, wherever you might be today.

Happy Halloween from Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

It’s Halloween today. When I was a boy, Halloween was my second favorite holiday, just behind Christmas. (Nothing beats presents under the tree, right?)

I think I liked Halloween because it gave me a chance to be someone other than myself. Actually, all gay men and boys had to do that every day, back when I was growing up. But on Halloween, I could dress however I chose and no one would consider me weird. I also liked going from door-to-door and meeting people I hadn’t ever talked with before. And I liked the freedom of roaming in the night without adult supervision. (Though I guess that doesn’t happen much anymore. 🙁 )

Anyway, I’m not doing anything for Halloween this year. I live in a neighborhood where hardly any children live, so there won’t be any trick-or-treaters at my door tonight. So, I am having dinner with a friend at our favorite Italian restaurant.

Look, if you feel like getting into the Halloween spirit, you can always buy a copy of my short novel titled Trick and Treat. Here’s the blurb for the book:

“Eric’s a college freshman and a computer geek. His college dorm mate, Tyler, is a loner who dabbles in the occult. While trick-or-treating near campus, Eric meets Roland, a vampire with a taste for young men. Their physical encounter casts a spell over Eric. Is he doomed to become a vampire himself, or can Tyler help free Eric from Roland’s grasp? Can the budding friendship between Eric and Tyler evolve into something more?”

Here’s the buy link if you’re interested:

And Happy Halloween, friends. 🙂

Hot blond boys at the beach; nice evening in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

If you follow this site regularly, then you know I live in a beach community on Florida’s west coast. The Gulf of Mexico is less than 100 yards from my front door, and I never tire of visiting the shore for long walks, especially on weekends when tons of hot young men flock to the water. They run around in swim trunks, showing off their youthful physiques while my tongue drags along the sand. 😉

Anyway, I haven’t visited the beach much lately because of the Red Tide that invaded our part of the Gulf around the first of September, just after I returned from Europe. It’s been too stinky down there, from all the dead fish, and the Red Tide also irritates your breathing passages and makes you cough. 🙁

It’s four PM right now, and I’ve had a busy day. I wrote fresh material all morning. Then, after lunch, I visited the wine market and the supermarket to replenish my supplies. I also visited our neighborhood seafood market to buy fresh grouper for a dinner I will serve a friend and myself this evening. It’ll be yummy, and maybe afterward we’ll watch a Netflix movie for entertainment.

When I returned home around two o’clock, I put on my work clothes and spent 2-1/2 hours working in the yard, raking leaves, trimming shrubs, and tidying my patios. I potted four new plants, and now the place looks great inside and out. It’s a beautiful night, here on the island–sunny, dry, and about eighty degrees, just perfect fall weather.

All right, friends, I need to hop in the shower, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Tuesday evening. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂

Nice video: a sexy guy takes matters into his own hands ….

Hi, friends and readers:

You guys know I never post porn on this site because it’s intended for all ages. But once in a while I will come across something so enticing that I like to share it with those of you who are adults.

Look, all gay men like to pleasure themselves regularly. It’s a ritual we learn as young teens and we never fully abandon it, now do we?  If you enjoy a handsome young man taking care of business, have a look at this:

See, I knew you’d like it. 😉 Have a great night, friends.

Guys with sexy abs; beautiful evening on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

You know, in my bok there’s nothing sexier than a cute guy who owns a set of rock-hard abs, like the two guys in today’s photo posts. I mean, have a look at Mr. Smiley to the left here. Great hair and skin, nice muscles and a 100-watt smile. And those abs … Aye-yi-yi.

I didn’t post yesterday because my day was jam-packed. I rose at 7:30 AM and secured my Trek hybrid bicycle to the bike rack on my car. Then I drove to a friend’s where we loaded my bike into his trailer along with four others. The five of us traveled to Myakka River State Park, where we spent a glorious day cycling the roads and trails throughout the park. The weather was perfect: cool, dry, sunny and just a little breezy. When I got home, the time was close to 4:30 PM. I unloaded my bike and locked it up, then removed the bike rack form my car and stowed it. After I was done it was time for beers on my deck, so no time for posting. Sorry, guys.

I’ve had a great day so far today. I was up at eight this morning and pounding on the keyboard at nine, writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress. The book’s at 55,000 words and nowhere near finished.

Right after lunch, I climbed into my Honda Element and cruised into the city for a workout and lap-swimming session at the YMCA. Then I hit Home Depot for yard mulch, flowers to plant and another plant to replace the one on my front screened porch. Now I am home and feeling relaxed as I open a cold beer and ready myself for a relaxing evening. 🙂

Have a great Monday evening, friends.

Sexy football players; Gator football on Martin’s agenda today ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I’m not a big sports fan, but I do enjoy following the Florida Gators football team each season, and especially this year because the team is actually pretty good. They are ranked in the top ten nationally, and today they’ll play another top ten team, the University of Georgia Bulldogs. The game’s at 3;30 PM and I’m going to watch at a friend’s house. We’ll drink a few beers during the game and then get takeout for dinner. It should be lots of fun, so …. Go Gators!

I spent a little time on my observation deck with my friend and neighbor last night, and conditions were so beautiful, I hated to to go inside. The sun was shining, the temperature and humidity were comfortable, and a light breeze blew–perfect fall weather in central Florida.

I spent last night by myself, dining on baked chicken flavored with ranch dressing, salsa and melted cheddar cheese, a real tasty meal. I watched a few episodes of Bates Motel on Netflix streaming.

I was up this morning at eight o’clock, and after I enjoyed a quick breakfast, I got busy at the keyboard writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress. I wrote for two hours, and now it’s 10:30 AM. Right after I write these words I will take a two-mile run, here on the island, for a little exercise. I have a painting project I’ll work on for 90 minutes or so, right after lunch, and then I’ll shower before driving into the city to watch the Gator game.

By the way, do you find the photo to the right as amazing as I do. I love the way the photographer shot the player in mid-air, just as he caught the ball, and I really like the way we can see the players muscles being put to use as he grabs the ball. What a beautiful guy, too. Great skin and hair. I wonder if he has a boyfriend?

Anyway, I digress ….

Early tomorrow morning, I am am joining a group of friends for a trip to a pretty state park about an hour south of here. We’re taking a trailer loaded up with our bikes and we’ll do some cycling in the park for a spell. Then we’ll have lunch there before returning to Pinellas County. So this afternoon, before the game, I need to lubricate my bike and hook my bike rack up to the trailer hitch on my car.

I need to get busy on things, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Saturday. Go Gators! 🙂
