Sexy divers in Speedos; sunny day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I’ve never attended a diving competition, but after looking at the photos I’m posting here today, I think I’m an idiot for not going to a swim meet sometime. I mean, look at the bodies on these guys, and don’t they fill out those Speedo swimsuits perfectly? I could watch them take plunges into a pool all day along. 😉

Well my trip northward with my friend went well. We picked up my boat and trailer, put the boat in my marina slip, put the trailer back in storage, and then took the boat for a pleasant ride on the river. The weather was perfect.

Lats night our community association put on their annual music festival, complete with live bands, food trucks, and beer and wine vendors. The weather last night was also perfect, and I enjoyed some tasty barbecue. 🙂

Have a look at the guy to the right. He’s simply stunning in his blue Speedo, getting ready to take the plunge. Notice how beautifully shaped his legs are. And how about that suntan. Aye-yi-yi ….

I’m having a relatively quiet day. I rose around nine AM, and after a quick breakfast I read the Sunday newspaper. After lunch I took a three-mile walk on the beach. It was crowded down there, but I didn’t mind because there were plenty of hot guys wandering about in their swimsuits. The sights were just…amazing.

I’m hosting a little dinner party for myself and three friends, two of whom are about to return to Philadelphia after spending winter down here in Florida. I’m grilling cheeseburgers over charcoal and yesterday I bought fresh corn on the cob from a produce stand, to go with the burgers. The meal should be yummy.

Have a nice Sunday, everyone.

Boys and backpacks; road time for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

There’s something I find terribly sexy about a young man who’s wearing a backpack on his shoulders but not wearing a shirt. It’s a special look that works with the right kind of guy, and I think the two boys in today’s photo posts are perfect examples.

Look at the guy to the left. Great skin and facial features, and I especially like the way the way his hair is sticking up form the crown of his head. I wonder if he has a boyfriend? 😉

I’m up early this morning, after going to bed last night around ten PM. I was tired after my full workout and lap-swimming session at the YMCA, so right after a friend and I visited my timeshare for a soak in the hot tub and a fifteen-minute sweat in the sauna, I hit the bed.

In just about 30 minutes a friend and I will climb into my Element and drive 80 miles northward to retrieve my boat from the Suzuki outboard dealer. We’ll trailer the boat to a marina where I keep it, then return the trailer to where I store it. Then we’ll drive back home. The whole exercise is a pain in the butt, albeit a necessary one.

By the time we return to my place our island’s annual music festival will be in full swing, which means the traffic out here will be crazy slow and congested. Once I’m parked at home I won’t be going anywhere for the rest of the day; it’s just not worth fighting the craziness. I’ll buy some barbecue at the festival for my dinner and listen to live music for a while, and it should be fun.

All right, everyone, I need to prepare for my journey northward, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a fabulous Saturday, wherever you might be today. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂

Guys with amazing butts; nice Friday evening in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

If you follow this site then you know I am a huge fan of the male rear end. A pair of smooth, firm and rounded butt cheeks is one of nature’s most beautiful creations, in my opinion. I mean, who wouldn’t want to caress the butt on the guy to the left here. It’s just amazing …. 😉

I’m posting late today. I had a busy morning writing. Then, right after lunch, I drove into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. This week I was able to swim laps all three visits to the Y”, the first I’ve been able to do so since tourist season arrived in January. It was so nice. 🙂

Now I’m home and ready for the weekend. Its beautiful outside right now: sunny, still, and about 80 degrees F. I have leftovers from my dinner last night that I bought takeout from a Greek place. My wine cupboard is fully stocked and I have plenty of beer. Tonight a good friend and I will visit my timeshare to swim in the pool and soak in the hot tub.

By the way, do you find the young man to the left as appealing as I do? I wonder if he’s voluntarily naked or if he’s being punished by his daddy for misbehaving? His bottom’s not red so I’d guess the former, but you never know. Maybe the spanking will come later. 😉

All right, everyone, I’m heading up to my observation deck with a cold beer to enjoy while I watch the sailboats cruise by my house. So I will close this post by wishing you all a wonderful Friday night.

Sexy wrestlers; beautiful day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Until my nephew began wrestling for his high school (and later college) I’d never attended a wrestling match. But I started going to my nephew’s and found them interesting. Wrestling requires a good deal of dedication from its participants. The training is intensive and proper diet is essential. And then there is strategy. I have a lot of respect for guys who wrestle, plus certain  guys look terrific in their singlets, which leave little to the imagination.

Do you find the young men in today’s photo posts as appealing as I do? 😉

I spent a delightful evening yesterday with my neighbors, sharing a tasty meal of white claim sauce over linguine and a freshly tossed salad. Wine was abundant and the conversation lively. What a great way to spend a few hours.

I slept in a little late this morning, finally rising at nine AM. I worked on a writing project for a while, and then I solved today’s L.A. Times crossword puzzle. I ran a load of laundry and read a chapter in a novel I’m immersed in titled The Zookeeper’s Wife, a really fine piece of writing. Now it’s close to eleven AM and in just a few minutes I’ll take a three-mile walk.

It’s a beautiful morning, here on the island, about 70 degrees F, sunny and still. After my walk, I’ll have a little lunch. Then I have a busy rest of the day: bank, post office to mail in my tax return, and a dentist appointment to have a new crown installed. (Ugh.) Tonight I’ll drive into the city to dine out with a friend, and then we’ll see a film at a theater complex in downtown St. Petersburg. It’s a ritual we observe a couple of times each month and I always enjoy myself.

All right, everyone, I need to get moving, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Tuesday, wherever you might be. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂

Hot boys and their cameras; windy morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I find most selfies rather boring. I mean, do I really want to know what sort of hair care products you keep on your bathroom vanity? U-m-m-m, no. But occasionally I’ll come across some interesting selfies and I’ll share them with you guys, for your viewing pleasure.

Our friend to the left here certainly looks good in those skimpy blue briefs he’s sporting. If her were my boyfriend I’d insist he wear them around the house frequently, and mean only the briefs, nothing else. Yummy …. 😉

I went to bed relatively early last night, and then I woke up at four AM, wide awake. I read for 90 minutes before going back to sleep, and I woke around eight AM, ready for my busy day.

I spent two hours writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress. Then I did the N.Y. Times crossword puzzle. Now it’s 11:30 a.m. and nearly time for lunch.

By the way, do you find the young man to the left here as appealing as I do? There are some very explicit photos of him floating around the Internet, and I will provide a link to them at the end of this post.

After lunch today I will drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. I’ve only visited the “Y” once in the past ten days because of my recent travels, so I am eager to get back into my exercise groove. After the “Y” I will visit my CPA to sign my 2017 federal tax return. I have a few errands to run on my way home, and then neighbors are hosting me for dinner tonight, a real treat. 🙂

Outside it’s very windy. A cool front swept into central Florida overnight, following some very blustery weather that hit us yesterday in the late afternoon. Well, at least the sun is shining. Have a nice Monday, everyone. Oh, and here’s that link:

Beautiful guys in black-and-white; rainy afternoon on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

If you follow this site then you know I am a huge fan of black-and-white photography, particularly when the subject of a photo is a handsome young man. See the boy to the right? He looks exactly like one of my college fraternity brothers who I developed a huge crush on my sophomore year. His name was Jerry. He was the shy type, with a beautiful smile and huge, chocolate brown eyes that made me swoon every time I gazed into them. Jerry and I were pretty close but I never told him that I felt a sexual attraction to him. Back then being gay was verboten, so I kept my feelings to myself. I wonder where Jerry is today?

I slept in late this morning. I think I was tired after spending most of the past week on the road. When I finally got up, I made myself some breakfast and read the Sunday newspaper. It was full of interesting articles on the Florida environment and how threatened it’s becoming. Then I worked in my yard for 1-1/2 hours, fertilizing shrubbery and raking leaves up. Just as I finished rain began to fall and then a huge squall line blew in from the Gulf of Mexico. It’s okay, we need the rain.

See the guy to the left here? My first partner looked a lot like him when he was in his early twenties, right down to the curly mop of hair he grew long.

It’s almost 3:30 PM right now and I’ve finished all the household chores I needed to take care of. I’ll do a little reading, and then I’ll have a few beers before I enjoy my dinner, leftovers from takeout a friend and I ordered last night. Have a good Sunday, friends.

Getting naked in nature; Martin’s back from his north Florida adventure ….

Hi, friends and readers:

It’s funny how getting out in nature can cause a guy to lose his inhibitions. The next thing you know his clothes are off and he’s prancing around in his birthday suit. The guy to the left certainly seems to enjoy getting to know that fallen tree, doesn’t he? I like the way the sunlight falls onto his butt and thighs. Beautiful …. 😉

Well, a friend and I departed the city Wednesday around one PM. We drove 2-1/2 hours northward to spend two nights at a beautiful state park right on the Suwanee River with a fresh water spring the size of six tennis courts. The weather was perfect: sunny, dry and cool.

Thursday morning a canoe outfitter rented us a canoe and shuttled us up river. Then we canoed ten miles down the Suwanee. I have canoed many Florida rivers but not that one, and the experience was very special. We saw few people on the river, but plenty of birds, turtles, and leaping Gulf sturgeons.

The cabin we rented in the park was almost posh compared to most I’ve stayed in, and Thursday afternoon we took a nice four-mile hike in another state park where we passed through a variety of north Florida ecosystems.

Now I’m home and unpacked, ready for a relaxing evening at home, here on the island. I’ll drink a few beers, fix a simple dinner, and probably watch a Netflix movie I received in the mail a few days ago. Have a nice Friday night, friends.

A cute bass fisherman; Martin’s going canoeing ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Okay, I know he’s a little rough around the edges, but I still think the young man to the left here is mighty cute, and I’d just about bet you he comes from north Florida. He has that look about him. Now, if he were my boyfriend I’d make him shave off those chin whiskers and maybe get a haircut. Otherwise there’s nothing I would change about him. 🙂

By the way, that fish hes holding is a large mouth bass, the number one fresh water game fish in Florida, and his fish is a beauty, the catch of a lifetime.

If you follow this site then you know I love the outdoors. I have a fishing camp and I live at the beach and I am always happiest when I am breathing fresh air. Hey, I’m a Florida boy. It’s who I am.

Early this afternoon a friend and I will travel 150 miles northward to stay in a Florida state park. Tomorrow morning we’ll spend four hours canoeing the Suwanee River. The weather’s supposed to be good. We have a cabin reserved for two nights and I’m pretty much fully packed for the trip: food, clothes and toiletries. And, of course, beer and wine. You can’t fully enjoy nature without a little alcohol in the mix. 🙂

Yesterday it rained all day nonstop, but this morning the sun is shining and the temperature will climb up to about 80 degrees F. It will be a little cooler up where we’re headed today, but still pleasant enough to wear shorts and a t-shirt during the day. We’ll barbecue chicken for our dinner tonight and also have a campfire. It’s going to be a fun two days.

Have a great Wednesday, friends.

Beautiful Heath Ledger; gloomy morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I came across the photo to the left yesterday, and it made me so sad it brought tears to my eyes. Heath Ledger looks like he must have been eighteen or so when it was taken, and what a beautiful guy he was.

I never knew much about Heath until I saw Brokeback Mountain. Believe it or not that film was released thirteen years ago. I remember seeing an interview with Heath at the time, where he explained that he felt completely comfortable with portraying a gay man because he was very close to his gay uncle, back in Australia. I also remember the love scenes between Heath and Jake Gyllenhaal in the movie and how genuine they looked. You could feel the passion right on the screen. How sad it is that Heath had to die at such a young age. 🙁

Well, my cruise hip docked at Port Canaveral yesterday morning, and my friends and I disembarked right around nine AM. I drove myself and three friends back to the west coast, arriving home around noon. I enjoyed the hell out of myself on the three-day cruise, especially when a group of us took a Jeep tour of Nassau guided by two Bahamian youths who were utterly charming.

The food on the ship was pretty good and the staff was super friendly. I did my best not to eat too much, and to get some exercise every day by walking a few miles on deck. The sea water in Nassau was the prettiest shade of blue and utterly clear. I’ve been to the Bahamas a dozen times, but never to Nassau, and the trip was definitely worth it.

It’s a gloomy morning, here on my little island. I just finished my writing for the day, and in just about a half-hour I will put on my gym shoes and take a three-mile walk. Then, after lunch, I will drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. I’ll run some errands on my way home, and I’m having dinner tonight with an old friend, so it’ll be a busy day for me.

Have a nice Tuesday, friends.

Boys on BMX bikes; Martin’s going on a cruise ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I’ve never been to a BMX track.  In fact, I don’t know if one exists in our city. But if guys at  who BMX look as good as the ones in today’s photo posts then I’d definitely like to visit a track one day. Are shirts prohibited at the tracks? I hope so …. 😉

Well when you read the headline for this post you probably thought to yourself, “Isn’t Martin always cruising guys? What’s new?”

Well, I mean I am going on an ocean liner cruise to the Bahamas tomorrow, with a group of twenty-two people from my neighborhood. I’ve never been on a cruise ship before, never wanted to. But I like my neighbors and it’s only three nights and I’ve never been to Nassau, so what the heck. I’m going.

I have always found the photo to the left a little haunting. The boy seems to be in a rather desolate place. No trees or shrubs or buildings. He’s in the middle of nowhere, it seems, but he doesn’t seem distressed about it. I’m guessing the photo was taken in west Texas or maybe Arizona. Anyway, I like it.

So, going on a cruise requires a fair amount of preparation. The usual packing is involved, of course. But I need documents I downloaded from the cruise line, along with my passport. I won’t have cell phone service or WiFi service either, so I’ll be incommunicado for three days and three nights. It’s okay, lack of service will be a nice change.

Of course I had to water all my house and patio plants so they don’t dry out while I’m gone. I cancelled delivery of my newspaper and made sure everything around here was in order. I filled up my Element for the drive to the east coast where our ship departs form Port Canaveral, close to where I normally surf in Cocoa Beach. Now everything is done.

In just a little while I will take a two-mile run, here on the island, and then it’ll be time to relax with a cold beer on my back porch. I need to get to bed early tonight, as I need to rise at 6:30 tomorrow morning.

Wish me luck, friends. 🙂
