Sexy Dylan O’Brien; another chilly morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

The guy in today’s photo posts is actor Dylan O’Brien. I can’t really say I’ve taken the time to watch any of his performances. I’ve never seen an episode of Teen Wolf, and I found his film, Maze Runner, unwatchable. But that’s okay, I still think he’s sexy as hell, and I’d love to meet him one day. Do you think he has a boyfriend?

I had the best time at my friends’ dinner party last night. Seven guys were there, including two I’d never met, and the mix of personalities was just right. The food was excellent, and so was the wine, though I had to limit my intake of vino so I could drive home safely. Our group enjoyed a lot of laughs, and I heard many an interesting story told, so I would call the evening a total success. I got home around ten PM, and it wasn’t long before I hit the sack.

I woke this morning, around eight AM, feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead. After breakfast, I devoted two hours to writing a new section of my novel-in-progress, and then I solved the N.Y. Times crossword puzzle. Now it’s close to noon, and I’m ready for lunch.

Since this is Wednesday, around one PM I will drive into town to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. I’m sure glad the pool there ins indoors because it’s chilly outside again today, At the moment our temperature’s at 55 degrees F, and that’s cold for central Florida. I had planned on meeting a friend for dinner at a restaurant tonight, but I think I’ll stay home and dine on lefties, since I’m eating takeout tomorrow night at a friend’s, and then I’m hosting folks for dinner at my house Friday. I have a Netflix rental to watch this evening, and I will probably light my fireplace for a little ambiance.

Have a nice Wednesday, friends, wherever you might be today. And keep smiling, it’s really important. 🙂

Another beautiful guy in black-and-white; chilly night on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

About twelve years ago, I rented an apartment in Berlin, Germany for the summer, to escape the Florida heat. I speak enough “street German” to get by whenever I am there.

Anyway, a few weeks into my stay, using social media, I met a young man from northern Germany, and I offered to host him at my place in Berlin for a few days. He ended up staying two weeks, and what a great time we had. He was a horny little devil, and funny as hell. The guy in the photo to the left here reminds me of my friend: dark hair and eyes, and an athletic build. I wonder where he is today?

I had a very productive afternoon. I planted four new plants in pots, one for inside the house, the others for my back porch and patio. I also got rid of three plants that simply weren’t flourishing. I got some household chores done and made a trip to the gas station and the supermarket, and now the time’s about 4:15 PM.

In just a few minutes I will hop in the shower to get myself ready for tonight’s dinner party in the city. I feel good about my productivity today, and I’m ready for a relaxing evening. Have a nice Tuesday night, friends. 🙂

Beautiful guys in black-and-white; gloomy and cold on the island today ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Oh, how I love good-quality black-and-white photography, especially when the subject is a handsome young man. Absence of color forces the viewer to focus solely on the subject of the photo, and who wouldn’t want to focus on Mr. Bulging Briefs to the left here? Just look at his lips. They beg to be kissed, don’t they? I wonder if he has a boyfriend?

We’ve been having stellar weather here for the past two weeks. Lots of sunshine and pleasant temperatures. But today it’s gloomy and cold on the island, a rarity.

Hey, at least it’s not hot, and it’s not raining, so there’s something to be grateful for, plus cold weather energizes me and makes me want to get things done. Yesterday, I put the second coat of polyurethane on my dining table and chairs and they look great.

Now, have a look at The Man in the Mirror to the left. Isn’t he a cutie? What a great smile.

I was up at 8:30 this morning, and after I shaved and made my bed, I threw a load of laundry into to washing machine. I made a quick breakfast, then spent 2-1/2 hours writing new material for my novel-in-progress. I wrote some pretty good prose, and now I am done for the day.

Right after lunch, I need to pot new plants I bought yesterday at Home Depot, some for my back porch, others for inside my house. I’ll perform the work on my patio, where I have a bench that works perfectly for potting plants.

If the wind’s not blowing too hard, I’ll take a two-mile run at four PM. Then, after a shower, I’ll drive into the city to attend a dinner party. Friends who winter in Florida each year recently arrived, and they are hosting the gathering. They’re funny guys and we always have a loot of laughs when we get together, plus they are great cooks. What more could I ask for?

Have a nice Tuesday, friends.

Monday selfies; quiet morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I don’t post too any selfies on this site because most I see aren’t very interesting. But I find the two I am posting here this morning tantalizing. I mean, check out Mr. Calvin Klein to the left here. His waist can’t measure more than 27″, but his chest and shoulders are amazing. Why can’t I have a body like his. 🙁

Yesterday evening, I built a blaze in my fire pit, then I hung out on my patio until it started raining. 🙁 I watched a little football, which was okay, and then I stayed up late last night, watching a movie. As a result, I slept in this morning till well past nine, which got me off to a late start in the writing department. It’s okay, I was busy as hell getting stuff done around here yesterday, so I’ll take it easy this morning.

Now, some of you might not find the guy to the left here attractive, but I do. I know he’s skinny, but he’s just the kind of guy I love to snuggle with for hours. And I’ll bet he can get wild between the sheets. He has that look to him. 😉

Today will be a typical Monday for me. In just a few minutes I’ll g for a three-mile walk, here on the island. I’ll make a simple lunch, then head into the city for a workout and lap-swimming at the YMCA. On my way home I will visit the wine market to replenish my supply, and then I’ll return to the house to finish a painting project I started yesterday.

Okay, none of that sounds too exciting, but I’m fine with it. And, the, the sun just emerged from behind the clouds, so it’s going to be a nice day weather-wise. Okay, friends, and I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a pleasant Monday. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂

Sexy guys in plaid shirts; easy Sunday on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I’m not sure why, but a guy in an unbuttoned plaid shirt can sometimes look incredibly sexy, especially when he owns a defined torso like the two young men in today’s photo posts. See the guy to the left here? I could spend several hours exploring his body with my tongue …. 😉

I spent a quiet night at home yesterday, enjoying the beautiful night air and my leftovers from Thursday night’s Greek dinner. I watched a little football, but it wasn’t too interesting, so I listened to music, chatted with a friend, and did a little reading before retiring.

It’s another beautiful winter day, here on the island. The sun is shining, the temperature’s right around 70, and there’s no wind blowing, a perfect combination in my book, and a good excuse to get outdoors. I mean, why stay inside during weather like this? In Florida, we put up with five months of heat and humidity so we can enjoy these cool months, so it’s time to soak it all up.

U-m-m, have a look at the guy to the left here. Is he sexy or what? How come he doesn’t live next door to me?

I got all my household chores completed yesterday, so I am free to do whatever I choose today. I don’t have much interest in the NFL playoff games on TV today, so I’ll pursue outdoor activities instead. I’ll take a three-mile walk for some exercise, and maybe I will do a little work in the yard, easy stuff that won’t take long. I’ll do some editing on my novel-in-progress, and maybe fish off the seawall across the street from my house. Rough stuff, eh?

Have a nice Sunday, everyone.

More lover boys; beautiful night on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I hope you’re enjoying today’s “lover boys” photos as much as I am. I have to admit, the one to the left here gets me more than a little excited. You can tell those two guy really like each other, right?

It’s been a wonderful day, here on the island. After lunch, I walked three miles on the beach, wearing only a swimsuit. The temperature was close to 80 degrees F and the shore was packed with sunbathers. I saw some pretty amazing sights, and the walk was heavenly.

When I returned home, I worked on a few projects and did some house-cleaning. Then, around four PM, I took a two-mile run, here on the island. It was so pretty outside–sunny and still and not too warm. I took a nice little walk afterward, and then I ascended to my observation deck to drink a couple of beers and chat with a neighbor.

Now it’s six PM and the NFL game on the air right now looks a little lop-sided. Kansas City may run away with it, and it’s snowing there. 🙁 I may opt for building another blaze in my fire pit if the game does not improve. I have leftovers in the kitchen for my dinner, and maybe I’ll walk down to our community’s quarterly street festival later on.

Have a nice Saturday night, friends.

A day of lover boys; yet another perfect morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

As you may know, the owners of the tumblr platform declared war on even semi-X rated accounts, by deleting most all of them on December 17, 2018. Sadly, that meant the death of many sources I had often used to obtain the non-explicit photos I post on this site. Fortunately, some accounts have survived, and among them are those featuring non-explicit photos of gay men getting affectionate. So we have something to be grateful for. 🙂

I adore photos of two men kissing, especially in a public place, so today I thought I’d put a few up for your viewing pleasure. I really like the top photo. The guys look quite masculine, yet they have no problem letting folks know they are in love with each other, and I think that’s wonderful.

I spent the evening at home by myself last night, as the guy who was supposed to come over had transportation issues. 🙁 It was fine. I built a lovely blaze in my fire pit and the weather was so nice I hated to come inside for dinner when the time near.

I dined on leftover shrimp and pasta, along with a fresh fruit salad, and I watched a Coen brothers movie on Netflix streaming titled A Serious Man, which I had seen before but wanted to watch again. If you have not seen it, you might want to. The acting is superb, the story line intriguing.

Outside, it’s another gorgeous winter day: sunny, still and about 70 degrees F. Right after lunch, I plan to take a three-mile walk on the beach for some exercise. I’ve already finished writing fresh material for the day, and after I take my walk, I may visit a nearby county park to take a two-mile run, if the wind doesn’t pick up. A friend may join me for dinner and a little football-watching later on.

Have a nice Saturday, friends.

Cute guy in sunglasses; beautiful night on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I ran out of photos of guys in eyeglasses, so this evening I am giving you the next best thing–a cute guy in sunglasses who is not wearing a shirt. Not bad, eh? I wonder what color his eyes are? And I wonder if he has a boyfriend? Yummy …. 😉

I just got home from a great workout and lap-swimming session at the YMCA, followed by a trip to the supermarket to stock up for the weekend. This time of year, it gets so busy on my island that trying to drive anywhere is an exercise in futility until the sun goes down. Plus, there’s a street festival five blocks north of me that will bring crowds out here Saturday night, so it’s best I leave the Element parked and spend my weekend on the island.

I just opened a cold beer, and after I finish this post it’s my intention to build a blaze in my fire pit. Outside it’s beautiful: 72 degrees, still and sunny, perfect winter weather, ans after the sun goes down, the temperature will drop, just right for a fire. I’m still not sure if I have a date tonight, but that’s okay. I have leftovers in the fridge and plenty of wine. 🙂

Have a great Friday night, friends.

Cute guys in eyeglasses; chilly morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Whoever said “men don’t make passes at guys who wear glasses” must have been nuts. I think eyeglasses some-times enhance a guy’s appearance. I mean, have a look at Mr. Stubble to the left here. Would you pass up a date with him? Of course you wouldn’t, and neither would I. 😉

I spent a fine evening with my old friend in the city last night. He had a nice blaze going in his fire pit, and we enjoyed the fire’s warmth for about an hour before picking up takeout Greek cuisine and dining indoors. I got home around 9:30 PM and chatted with a friend in Chile for a while. Then I climbed into bed with a book and read for an hour before switching off my nightstand lamp and drifting into dreamland.

Isn’t this guy to the left here cute? What a beautiful smile.

I woke at eight this morning, and after brewing coffee and enjoying a quick breakfast, I got busy at the keyboard, banging out fresh material for my novel-in-progress, now at 84,000 words. This part of the book has been tough to write, since one of the main characters is undergoing chemotherapy to treat his Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system. To prepare for writing this section, I interviewed a family member who underwent chemotherapy several years ago.

The side effects of chemo are devastating: hair loss, mouth sores, nausea, diarrhea, easy bruising, fatigue, weight loss and loss of appetite. A lot of patients end up looking like concentration camp survivors.

My other main character has to care for his partner while the treatments take place, and it’s rough because they have to live with the sick partner’s parents. The parents don’t approve of their son’s relationship with his partner, and needless to say, it’s a tense time for all involved.

We’re enjoying a beautiful day, here on the island: sunny, breezy and quite chilly, around 56 degrees F. That’s cold for central Florida, but I don’t mind. After all the heat we endured this past summer and fall, it feels good to wear a sweater and jacket for a change.

Since it’s Friday today, I’ll visit the city for my usual workout and lap-swimming at the YMCA, and then I’ll head back to the island. I may have a date tonight. If not, I’ll likely build a blaze in my fire pit on the patio. It’s that time of year.

Have nice Friday, friends,  wherever you might be today.

One more guy in a white towel; productive afternoon for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Since this is “guys in white towels” day on my site, I decided to put up one more, only this guy has already peeled off his towel, and I wish I could have been there when the photo was taken. He actually reminds me of a fraternity brother I used to shower alongside when I lived in the house. He was cute blond guy from Orlando who I always suspected might be gay, but I never found out for sure. 🙁  Ed, where are you today?

I’m so proud of myself because I got all my yard work done today and now the place looks great. I love the new hibiscuses I installed in my patio planter, and the mulching job looks terrific.

Okay, friends, very shortly I will climb into the Element for a drive into the city. Have wonderful Thursday night, wherever you are. 🙂
