I’m not sure about the wisdom of going into sub-freezing temperatures while shirtless, but our friend to the left here looks pretty sexy in his beanie, doesn’t he? He could build a snowman in my yard any day, and I’d even ask him in for hot chocolate afterward. 😉
Well, it’s been an encouraging day, health-wise, for me today, After being sick and listless since Christmas Day, I am finally starting to feel better. I made sure to keep things low-key today so I didn’t tax my strength, and I actually feel somewhat normal tonight. Halle–freakin’–leujah. 🙂
I have absolutely nothing planned for this evening. I’ll make a nice dinner for myself and watch a Netflix streaming movie with Timothee Chalamet in it to lift my spirits. Then I’ll head for bed with a book.
Here in central Florida you will rarely see boys wearing beanies because it doesn’t hardly ever get that cold here. But today, a beanie might be in order. It’s 63 degrees F outside right now, and I found myself shivering when I went to grab the newspaper this morning. But the sun is shining and there’s no wind blowing, so it’s not too bad, really. Plus the chilly air is a nice change from the warm and humid weather we suffer through six months out of the year.
I think our friend to the left here looks great in his beanie and sleep pants, especially since he isn’t wearing a shirt. Very sexy …. 😉
Well, I spent a couple of hours at my fire pit last night; I got a good blaze going and enjoyed a couple of beers before dining on a chicken breast and salad. I was in bed by eleven and slept until ten this morning, so I’m still recovering from the flu.
I have absolutely nothing planned for my Monday, other than trying to put my Christmas decorations back in my attic, and doing some editing on my novel-in-progress. I simply don’t have much energy to do anything else. I will do some reading and work the N.Y. Times crossword puzzle, and I will likely take a nap this afternoon at some point. I have to focus on my health above all else, and that means plenty of rest and no physical stress until I am out of the woods. Have a nice Monday, everyone.
