I love the look of a backward ball cap on a young man; it gives him an air irreverence I find charming. And the look is especially nice when he’s not wearing a shirt, like our friends in today’s photo posts. Check out the guy to the left here. I could toss that football back and forth with him for hours. 😉
Well, because of the threat of a hurricane hitting the Bay Area, my weekend house guest had to change his flight to Dallas from tomorrow afternoon to today at 5:15 PM, and I just got home from driving him to the airport. 🙁
He was such a thoughtful guest, and so sweet. I hated to see him go, but we had a good time while he was here, and he certainly was a lusty lad. 😉 I’m really glad I decided to host him here in Florida, and I hope I will see him again.
Every Labor Day weekend, my neighbors put together a potluck dinner, usually on the beach down the street from my house. Everyone brings a tasty dish to share, along with wine and beer and a beach chair to sit on. It’s always fun because I have such wonderful neighbors who I enjoy spending time with.
And wouldn’t you know, my house guest even made homemade potato salad for me to take to the party. 🙂
I’m not sure what I’ll do with the rest of my evening, or with my Labor Day, now that my friend has departed for Texas, but have no fear; I’ll find something enjoyable to occupy my time. I have a fridge full of food and drink, and who knows? I may find myself a date, if I am lucky.
Have a great Sunday evening, friends. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂
