Hot guys on boats; Martin’s going fishing ….

Hi, friends and readers:I live in a boating community; my island’s surrounded by water and boats are a part of everyday life here. It’s funny, when you put a young man on a boat and get him out on the water, most all his clothes come right off. (And some-timesΒ all of them if you’re lucky.) I mean, how’d you like to spend a day on the water with our friend to the left here? What a beautiful guy, definitely boyfriend material.

Speaking of boats, I’m traveling to my fishing camp midday today, along with one of my good friends, to spend two nights up there. Weather permitting, we’ll go scalloping in the Gulf tomorrow, and this afternoon, we’ll do some fishing. Then we’ll drive home on Thursday. Yes, the weather will be warm up there, but that’s Florida in the summer.

I spent some time last night and also this morning, packing everything for the trip: gas tanks, food box, clothes box, new boat ladder, boat storage box/swivel seat, and two ice coolers, on for food, the other for drinks. This morning, I visited the bait shop and the super-market to buy supplies and ice, and now everything is ready to go in the car, just before I leave.

By the way, imagine spending a day in a boat with Mr. Blondie to the left here? He looks nice in those swim trunks, doesn’t he?

All right, everyone, I need to get busy here, so I will wish all of you a fine Tuesday, wherever you might be today, and if you’re lucky enough to own a boat, find yourself a handsome young man and take him out for an afternoon cruise. Bring plenty of beer, and you never know what might happen. πŸ˜‰

Beautiful guys in black-and-white; productive day for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

If you follow this site, you know I really like black-and-white photography when it’s done well, which is the case in the two photos I am posting here this afternoon.

The young man to the left here is exceptionally handsome–beautiful skin and eyes and a sensual mouth. I’ll bet he can do amazing things with his lips. πŸ˜‰

I have a productive day today. I did my daily writing this morning. Then, right after lunch, I visited the YMCA for a good lap-swimming session and a workout. I spent some time chatting with some of my friends there, and I left feeling refreshed and in a good mood. I went to Home Depot afterward, to purchase a new counter top for my vacation rental next door. I brought it home and stored it over there for installation next week, I hope.

Now, have a look at the young man to the left here. He has what I’d call a “natural physique” that has not been gym-toned, which I quite attractive. Not every guy needs to look like he works out five times a week. It looks like the photo was taken underneath a freeway, an odd choice for a semi-nude picture, but it works. πŸ˜‰

I home now and just out of the shower. I’ll be dining on a baked chicken breast for my dinner, and beforehand I will take a swim at my neighbors’ house next door. They’re out of town right now and don’t mind if I use the pool during their absence.

While I eat dinner, I’ll probably watch another episodeΒ The Crown,Β which is a pretty Netflix series I may get addicted to. And then it’s an early bedtime for me, as I’m going up to my fishing camp for a couple of days with a good friend.

Have a nice Monday night, friends.

Hot guys in plaid shirts; lazy Sunday in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

It’s funny how a plaid shirt can enhance some guys’ appearance so well. And I am not sure why, but the young man to the left here looks great in his, doesn’t he?

The last remaining gay resort in our area is closing its doors today, victim of the rental apartment construction boom.

I’m not much of a bar person, and have not been for many years. But last night I decided to visit the resort for a couple of drinks, just to say goodbye. I wound up spending time with a gay couple who work out at the YMCA when I do, and we spent a pleasant 90 minutes or so, just chatting. Then I drove home.

I slept in late this morning, and by the time I read the Sunday newspaper from cover to cover, the time was well past noon. Okay, maybe I’m a bit of a slug, but that’s okay. Ever since I returned from my 3-week trip out west, I’ve been frantically working to complete a list of tasks involving my property and my writing career. And after yesterday, the list is done. (Whew.)

Of course, new fires arise on a regular basis; they have to be stamped out. But that’s just life, right? Anyway, I’ll be taking it easy today. I’ll take a 3-mile walk on the beach in just a little while, and I plan to take a two-mile run around four PM. I have some reading I want to do, and that’s it.

A friend is coming over for dinner tonight. I’ll make something tasty for us to enjoy, and then I’ll likely call it an early night. Have a great Sunday, friends. And keep on smiling, it’s important. πŸ™‚

More Dylan Dauzat; looks like a quiet night for Martin’s in store ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Well, here we have Dylan at the shore, wearing only swim trunks, and I’d say he looks pretty good, displaying all that smooth flesh. I think I own that same pair of trunks, BTW. I wonder where that beach is? I’m guessing Southern California, but maybe not.

I spent my entire afternoon on the road, doing what I like least–shopping.Β First and foremost, I needed a new fitted sheet for my bed because the old one developed a tear and looked shabby. Then I headed to the mall and Dick’s Sporting Goods to buy clothing, including gym wear, a new swimsuit, and new casual t-shirts. My old t-shirts were looking a little worn, and I found a good deal on shirts at Dillard’s. Then I visited the WaWa to buy non-ethanol gas for my boat.

After I got home, of course, I had to unpack all my purchases and cut off the tags, a real pain. Now I’m washing sheets and then I’ll wash the rest of my purchases. I’m feeling a little weary since I rose early this morning, so I think I’ll stay home tonight and chill.

Have a nice Saturday night, friends.

Beautiful Dylan Dauzat; steamy morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Instagram and Facebook celebrity, Dylan Dauzat, appears in today’s photo posts, and while I think Dylan lacks any real talents, he certainly is good-looking. Great hair and skin, lean body and a nice smile. What’s not to like?

I spent a thoroughly satisfying evening yesterday, all by myself. I spoke on the phone with a good friend in Germany before dining on fresh coho salmon. I watched a Netflix movie that was okay, but I grew tired of watching and elected to sit on my front porch swing, enjoying the cool and damp weather.

Later on, I spent an hour trading instant messages with a young man in Brazil I have known for almost a year. He’s a beautiful guy and very sweet but he is closeted because his family is very conservative and religious. πŸ™ We discussed me visiting him in the fall, probably October.

I spent the latter part of my evening in bed reading, and I was asleep by eleven PM. I slept until eight this morning, and after a quick breakfast, I spent 90 minutes writing fresh material for my new novel-in-progress.

By the way, have a look at the photo to the left. Pretty seductive, eh? Would you crawl under the covers with Dylan? Sure you would. πŸ˜‰

It’s eleven AM here, and after lunch I’ll need to run errands. I need to buy new sheets for my bed, since the fitted sheet has a tear in it, why I don’t know. I’ll shop for some new “dry fit” t-shirts at Dick’s Sporting Goods, and I need to buy non-ethanol gas for my power boat, as I’m planning on visiting my fishing camp this week. Around four PM, I’ll take a two-mile run, here on the island.

I may have a date tonight; it remains to be seen, but a little intimacy would be nice if it happens. Have a n ice Saturday, everyone.

Another handsome guy in an a-shirt; quiet night for Martin, it seems ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Have a look at our friend to the left here. Talk about a young man who makes an a-shirt look terrific. He has the perfect body to wear one–great arms and shoulders, and a narrow waist. If he were my boyfriend, I’d make him wear that garment all the time. πŸ˜‰

Well, the pool at the YMCA was too crowded today for me to swim laps, so I did my workout and then ran my errands–auto parts store for a new car battery, booze market and supermarket. It was pouring down rain while I did so, but now I am home.

For a while it seemed like I might have a date tonight, a cute guy I met on a dating app I have on my i-Phone, but he can’t get out of a social obligation tonight, so he’ll have to wait for another time. πŸ™ Instead, I’ll edit what I wrote this morning, have a couple of beers, and enjoy fresh salmon for my dinner tonight. That’s not so bad really, and I have a good movie to watch.

Have a nice Friday night, friends.

Sexy guys in a-shirts; easy Friday in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Only certain guys can pull off wearing an a-shirt. A guy needn’t be muscular to look good in one. The boy to the left here is pretty slender, but he has broad shoulders and a trim waist, plus he’s pretty damned cute. I also like the way the photographer shot the photo through a chain link fence. It gives the boy an air of mystery, I think.

I had a pleasant evening at my friend’s home last night. We dined on tasty pizza and salad, but I was so tired by the end of the meal, I couldn’t even finish the bottle of wine I brought with me. I just drove home and crawled into bed with a book, and I was asleep in fifteen minutes.

I woke this morning around seven-thirty, feeling rested and ready for a good day. Right after I brewed coffee and made breakfast, I got busy writing the first pages of a new novel I am starting. Now that my last book has been accepted for publication, I can focus on this new manuscript.

It’s always hard to know what I want to write about, when I start a new book. I spent about five weeks pondering what the story would be about, and who the characters would be. Now I’m at a good starting point. I wrote this morning for a couple of hours, and I’m pleased with what I produced. Already, I’m getting to know my two main characters, Adam and Peter.

By the way, our boy to the left here sure does his a-shirt justice, doesn’t he? What a great body–slim in the hips, with broad shoulders and a sculpted torso. Definitely boyfriend material. πŸ˜‰

I have a pretty easy Friday ahead of me. Right after lunch, I’ll visit the YMCA for lap-swimming and a workout in the fitness center. Then I’ll visit an auto parts store to buy a new battery fro my Element, as the old one’s getting sluggish. I’ll hit the supermarket on the way home, then spend a quiet evening at home, watching a Netflix rental and dining on something good.

Have a nice Friday, everyone.

Relaxing on the sofa; relaxing evening in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Sometimes when a guy’s home alone, he likes to relax on the living room sofa in his briefs, and wouldn’t you love to walk in your front door this evening to find our friend to the left here on your sofa? Yummy …. πŸ˜‰

Well, I made my appointment on time and drove 40 minutes back to my house through light traffic. When I got home, the sky was overcast, so I did my floor stretches, then ran two miles on the street. I had a good run, and now I’m inside, waiting till I cease sweating before I shower.

In about an hour I will head into the city to spend the evening with my old friend. Have a nice Thursday night, everyone.

The sexy guy with braces on his teeth; another rainy day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

When I was in high school, I wore orthodontic braces on my teeth for three years. I hated the damned things. They were made of stainless steel and I always felt as though my mouth was full of some foreign substance. I couldn’t wait to get them off because I thought they made me look ugly.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I think the young man in today’s photo posts looks pretty darned sexy, despite the braces in his teeth. Would you agree?

I went to bed pretty early last night, around 10:30. I read for a little while before falling asleep, and I didn’t wake up until eight this morning. I think I needed the rest.

After I shaved and made my bed, I brewed coffee and made myself a simple breakfast. Then I retrieved the newspaper from my front step. I tried reading articles about Robert Mueller’s appearance before two congressional committees, but, let’s face it, Mueller didn’t have much to say. πŸ™

It’s another rainy and overcast day, here on the island. I guess a storm system in the Gulf keeps sending squall lines our way, which is fine with me. We need the rain and it keeps things cool.

I’m in a great mood today, since yesterday afternoon I received an e-mail from my publisher agreeing to publish my latest novel, a 90,000-word monster that took me over a year to write. My published told me she loved my characters and found herself totally immersed in the story from the book’s first page, and coming from her, that’s high praise.

When I write a book, I never know if people will like it or no; it’s impossible to gauge until someone qualified reads the manuscript and offers comments. Now I know all my efforts last year and earlier this year have paid off. πŸ™‚

I don’t have a lot on my plate today. I have an afternoon appointment about a 40-minute drive from here that won’t take long. I’ll take a two-mile run when I get home. Then, this evening, I drive into the city to spend time with my oldest friend, drinking a few beers and dining on takeout. It’s always a good time.

Have a nice Thursday, everyone. And if your boyfriend has braces on his teeth, be sure to tell him he still looks might cute. He’ll love you for it. πŸ™‚

Another beautiful skateboarder; wet night on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

IΒ knowΒ you guys loved this morning’s photo posts. Who could not? So, I’m putting up another of my favorite skateboarder pics for your viewing pleasure. And let’s face it, the young man to the left here is about as close to physical perfection as I can imagine. Great skin and hair, slender but sinewy. He’s definitely boyfriend material, at least in my book. I could watch him ride his skateboard for hours …. πŸ˜‰

I had a good workout at the YMCA, but I didn’t get to swim laps because the pool was closed due to nearby lightning strikes. πŸ™ Afterward, I drove through a tremendous downpour to visit Home Depot. I picked our laminate sample for a new kitchen counter I’m having installed in my vacation rental. Then I came home.

It’s a damp and rainy evening, here on the island, which is fine by me. It’s kind of peaceful, and it’s far cooler than most summer nights we have. In a few minutes, I’m having my friend/neighbor over to share a bottle of French red wine, and then I’ll cook a fresh shrimp dish for my dinner. Yummy …. πŸ™‚

Have a nice Wednesday night, friends.
