Bon voyage; see you in April, friends ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I have almost no experience with cruise ships, and I’ve only been to South America once, so I’m about to embark on a fresh experience today. I fly to Miami first, then to Santiago, Chile, where I will spend two nights with a university student at a nice hotel. Then I’ll take a shuttle to the coast and board the ship for a 15-day cruise up the Pacific coast to San Diego.

While I’m at sea, I’m hoping to make the acquaintance of Jorge, my cabin steward, who I hope will look like the guy to the left. (“Oh, Martin, es grande!”) 😉

So, I am fully packed and ready to go. A taxi will pick me up mid-afternoon and whisk me to Tampa International, and tomorrow morning I will land in Santiago.

Recently, someone asked me if traveling alone bothered me. I said, “When I broke up with my last partner it did. But now, two years later, I’m fine with traveling by myself. I’m an outgoing person and I make friends easily. So, I never feel lonely.”

Oh, and two longtime friends of mine will join me on the cruise, though we are taking separate flights, as I wanted a couple of days to spend in Santiago before I board the ship. They have a cabin five doors from mine, so I’ll have company whenever I want it.

Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, and three places in Mexico are all places I have not been to, and I am excited. I’m excited about meeting Jorge, as well. 😉

I’ll post again around April ninth, friends. Stay well. 🙂

One more Kline Barfield photo; nice evening in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Here’s another photo of Kline Barfield, who in my opinion sits at the apex of male beauty. What’s not to like about him? Yummy … 😉

Well, I have completed all my packing for my journey to South America tomorrow. I have a backpack, a roll-on bag, and one other bag I will check with the airline.  I tried to stay as organized as I could, placing nonessential items in my checked bag, in case it gets lost by the airline in the transfer to my flight to Santiago. I can do okay with just my roll-on and backpack if I have to.

I have a pleasant evening ahead of me, now that I’m all set to travel tomorrow. As mentioned this morning, I’m meeting an old friend for dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant. Since it’s “wine Wednesday” there, we’ll share a bottle with our tasty meals. I have know this guy forever. We are both retired lawyers, so we never run dry on conversation.

When I get home, I’m sharing some more wine with my friend and neighbor, the last time I’ll see him for almost three weeks. Then it’s an early bedtime for Martin, since I have a big day ahead of me tomorrow.

Have a nice Wednesday evening, friends.

Beautiful Kline Barfield; Martin’s busy packing for his cruise ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I don’t know much about Kline Barfield, who you see to the left here. I know he’s a fashion model and I believe he’s an excellent skeet shooter. And I know this for certain–he’s beautiful. Who would pass up a date with him? Answer: nobody. 😉

My friend and I enjoyed a great meal at the tapas restaurant. The sangria there is so tasty. Sadly, the movie my friend chose, Captain Marvel, was dreadful. Even my friend admitted it. But what the hell, we still had a good time and the popcorn was excellent. 🙂

It’s a nice morning, here on the island, with a temperature in the mid-70’s. The sun is shining and a steady breeze is stirring the fronds on my coconut palms. Isn’t today the last day of winter?

Here’s another photo of lovely Kline. Imagine sharing an apartment with him every day? I think I’d go out of my mind with lust, unless of course, Kline was sharing a bed with me. 😉 Hey, I can dream, can’t I?

Tomorrow I take a flight to Miami, then connect with a nine-hour flight to Santiago, Chile. I’ll spend two nights in a nice hotel there. I’m meeting up with a university student there who will spend both nights with me. Then I take a shuttle to my cruise ship, a ninety-minute drive to the Pacific coast.

Today, I am in the process of packing for my trip, which takes a lot of planning, since I’ll be gone a total of 19 days. I have to be sure I’ll have everything I need, from proper clothing to medications and toiletries. I have to water all my houseplants and patio shrubs too. (A neighbor will water those for me periodically while I am gone.

Tonight I’m dining out again with another friend, at our favorite Italian place, and then I’ll get to bed at a reasonable hour so I can get up early tomorrow. Have a great Wednesday, everyone.

Another cutie in a hoodie; fun night in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Isn’t the boy to the left here cute? He sure makes that hoodie look good, doesn’t he? I’ll bet he’s a total sweetie.

Today has been all about getting ready for my upcoming cruise and flight to Santiago, Chile. I shopped for lots of little things I’ll need, and bought some snack items for the long plane flight. I even bought a flight-sized bottle for laundry detergent. The cruise is fifteen nights and I’ll needs to wash some clothing items while we’re at sea. I even bought some clothespins so I can air dry what I wash. (Aren’t I a careful planner?)

As mentioned this morning, I’m spending this evening with one of my closest friends, he was one of my companions who joined me for Mardi Gras this year. I’m treating him to dinner at my favorite Spanish restaurant downtown, and then we’ll walk over to the movie theater, which is only three blocks away. It’ll be fun.:-)

Have a nice Tuesday night, friends.

Cute boys in hoodies; rainy day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Here in central Florida we might wear a jacket 3-4 times a year. It never gets that cold where I live. So when the weather gets cool, like it is today, we wear hoodies. They aren’t too heavy but they keep us warm enough.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I think the guys in today’s photo post look great in their hoodies, especially Mr. Wavy Hair in the upper pic. He has such beautiful facial features, and I love the way he is posed, with his gaze skyward and his drawstring between his teeth. Yummy …. 😉

It’s a downright ugly day, here on the island. The temperature’s in the mid-50’s, and it’s rainy and damp, quite the contrast to the picture perfect weather we’ve had all March. But that’s okay, I don’t mind. I have a shopping trip planned to buy things I will need for my upcoming cruise. I need to start the packing process, too.

Tonight, I’ll drive into the city to dine out at a tapas restaurant in downtown St. Petersburg with one of my best friends. Then we’ll see a movie at the cineplex. We always have a good time doing this.

All right, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a pleasant Tuesday, wherever you might be right now. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂

Another sexy triathlete; gloomy evening on the island ….

Hi,, friends and readers:

If you liked the photos I posted here this morning, then you will certainly appreciate the one to the left here. I could watch him run all day long if he’d let me. 😉

I had a great workout at the YMCA this afternoon. I bade farewell to my friends there, as I won’t be seeing them for three weeks, due to my upcoming Pacific cruise. I got a haircut afterward, and then stopped at the seafood market to buy fresh Gulf shrimp for tonight’s dinner.

It’s a gloomy evenng, here on the island. The skies are gray, the temperature’s cool, and it’s supposed to rain pretty hard later on this evening, so no blaze in my fire pit tonight. 🙁 Instead, I’ll stay inside and watch a Netflix movie, which won’t be too bad. Have a nice Monday night, friends.

Sexy triathletes; sunny morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Ever attended a triathlon? Last summer, when I was walking the beach during early morning, one was wrapping up right where I was walking. All these sexy guys were emerging from the Gulf in Speedo-style swimsuit, most every one tall and lean and looking oh-so-sexy. I wonder when the next one will be held down there? 😉

I spent a quiet  night at home last night, dining on a chicken breast, a spinach salad and pasta. I watched a little television before I cleaned up my kitchen and climbed into bed with a book. I probably read for close to an hour before I put aside my book and killed the lights. Then I was fast asleep in five minutes. I’m a sound sleeper, and I slept like a sack of rocks. 🙂

I was up about eight this morning, feeling refreshed and ready for the day. After a quick breakfast, I spent two hours writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress, which is approaching 100,000 words, a lengthy book.

I know the guy to the left here is super-skinny, but I find him very appealing nonetheless. He has a nice smile, doesn’t he?

It’s a little past eleven AM now, and I’m done writing for the day. After I finish this post, I need to do some planning and preparation for my upcoming cruise up the Pacific coast of South America, Central America, and Mexico. It’s a 15-day cruise, and I want to be sure I pack everything I’ll need to be comfortable, while at the same time I want to keep things to a minimum as best I can.

Since today is Monday, after lunch I’ll drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. I’ll get my hair cut afterward, the head home. I don’t really have any plans for my Monday evening, other than perhaps building a blaze in my patio fire pit, since the weather has cooled off considerably. The sun’s shining, so it’s a pretty morning.

Have a nice Monday, everyone.

Beautiful Timothee Chalamet; quiet morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Last night, a friend and I watched a film titled Beautiful Boy. It’s a sobering story about addiction, starring Timothee Chalamet and Steve Carell. Most movies I see these days don’t grab me emotionally, but this one did. The acting is superb and the story is so realistic. And the northern California setting is lovely. I recommend it highly.

I slept in late again, this morning. I’ve been doing this ever since the switch last week to DST, and I guess my body clock is all screwed up. Plus, I think I am subconsciously stressed out over the trip I depart for on Thursday. And let me explain about that, since I don’t want those of you who visit here daily to worry about me.

Thursday, I fly to Santiago, Chile. I’ll spend two nights there before boarding a cruise ship in San Antonio, Chile. Then I’ll spend 15 days cruising the Pacific coast of South America and Central America. Two friends will be with me, but I’ll have a private cabin with a balcony to myself. I’m excited as hell, but nervous too. I always am when I venture into something unknown, but I know I’ll be okay. I’m a seasoned traveler.

It’s quiet on the island today, as the sky is overcast and the Spring Breakers aren’t mobbing the beach like they normally would. I got all my work in the house and yard done yesterday, so I’ll take things easy.

Have a nice Sunday, everyone.

A saucy twink; movie night for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I love a twink with a sense of humor, a boy who doesn’t take himself too seriously. Every time I look at the photo to the left, I laugh. I’d love to have a conversation with him, just to bask in his rascally personality. I wonder what his name is and where he lives? Did he take that photo in a classroom? It appears so ….

Despite getting off to a slow start this morning, I got a lot done today. I cleaned my bathrooms and vacuumed. I mopped my kitchen floor. I put down five bags of mulch in my right-of-way out front and raked up fallen sea grape leaves. (It’s that time of year.) I used a leaf-blower on my patios, too.

I rewarded myself for my labors by spending a little time on my observation deck, drinking a couple of beers and watching the boats cruise by in the Intracoastal Waterway. Tonight, my friend and neighbor is hosting me for pizza and antipasto. We’ll watch a Timothee Chalamet film, Beautiful Boy, one I’ve been wanting to see. I understand it’s good, and Timothee’s so cute.

Have a nice Saturday night, friends.

Sexy guys flexing; cloudy day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Young guys can be so vain about their bodies. And for some reason, they think their best pose is when they are flexing their arm and shoulder muscles. I mean, neither guy in today’s photo posts could compete in a body-building competition. But both are pretty sexy anyway, especially Mr. See My Boxers. 😉

I spent a very pleasant evening with my fellow Mardi Gras reveler last night. We dined on fresh grouper and drank some wine, and after he left I didn’t last long before I hit the bed.

Now, this guy to the left took this photo when he was utterly naked, but since this is an all-ages site, I had to crop the picture for posting. For a guy his size, he certainly is well-equipped down below. 😉

I ended up sleeping until ten this morning, I guess I was tired. I have a lot to do today, so I’ll need to get motivated during my afternoon hours. I have five bags of mulch to put down. I have some housecleaning to perform, and some light yard work to do, so I will stay busy. Outside, it’s cloudy and gray, but that’s okay.

Have a nice Saturday, friends.
