Look a this guy to the left here. He has a perfect body for an a-shirt–nice shoulder and arm muscles, slim waist, flat stomach. Plus he’s cute as hell. Who wouldn’t want to spend an evening with him, especially if he wore that shirt? Aye-yi-yi, he’s definitely boyfriend material …. 😉
I had a good workout at the YMCA, but still could not get a lap lane, so I had to forego swimming. 🙁 Instead I came home and took care of correspondence. I did some editing on my novel-in-progress, and watered my newly-planted shrubs.
Now I am freshly showered and ready for a relaxing evening. I have some tasty leftovers for my dinner tonight–chicken and rice–and I’ll make a fresh fruit salad to go with them. After dinner, my neighbor and I will visit my timeshare for a soak in the hot tub. It’s windy outside this evening, but the temperature’s around 70 degrees F, so we’ll be fine.
Not every guy can get away with wearing an a-shirt a/k/a wife-beater. He needs the right shoulders and arm muscles, and a flat stomach, like Mr. Casalegno to the left here. What a beautiful guy. I wonder if he has a boyfriend?
I had a great time with my friends last night. Our host cooked a fine meal–baked chicken with steamed rice and cheesy broccoli. We were supposed to watch a movie in cable, but ended conversing instead, far more entertaining.
I got home around ten PM and it wasn’t very long before I climbed into bed with the John Irving novel I am reading, In One Person. I might have read for a half-hour before I turned off the nightstand lamp and drifted into dreamland.
I have a busy day ahead of me. In about thirty minutes, I have to drive to west Tampa for an appointment, always a harrowing drive at this time of year because of all our northern visitors clogging the bridges and roads. I’ll return to downtown St. Pete to dine at my favorite hot dog emporium. Then I’m off to the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming.
I’ll have a few errands to run after I leave the gym, and then I’ll need to come home and start packing for my upcoming trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. My friend and I fly out very early Friday morning, and Thursday’s jam-packed with stuff I have to do, so I’ll do most of my packing tonight.
All right, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing everyone a great Wednesday. I hope the sun is shining where you are, and keep a smile on your face, it’s important. 🙂
