Since everyone liked my boardshorts photo posts this morning, I’m putting up another this evening.
It’s been a strange day, really. I woke up super early and feeling restless. Then I had to decide whether or not to attend a Celebration of Life gathering for a gay man I wasn’t all that close to, but his ex-partner is my neighbor and I decided to go. I’m glad I did because I know my neighbor appreciated my presence. A large crowd showed up, and the decedent’s family seemed gratified.
I have a easy Saturday night in store for me. I have leftovers from my fishing trip to enjoy, and then a friend and I will watch a Timothee Chalamet film on Amazon Prime titled Beautiful Boy. I hear it’s pretty good.
For many years, boardshorts have been the swimsuit of choice for young men, and the suits look great on guys who have nice behinds, like the two in today’s photo posts.
Since I live in a beach community, I see a lot of young guys at the shore every weekend, and over the past two years I’ve noticed less and less boardshorts getting worn. Guys are going for shorter swim trunks with elastic waists, and I like the new look. But boardshorts will always have a special place in my heart.
I went to be with a book around 10:30 last night, after returning from my evening with my best friend. We dined on tasty Greek cuisine, and I enjoyed a few glasses of white wine. Once in bed, I fell asleep around eleven PM. Then I woke up this morning around seven. I tried to go back to sleep, but to no avail. So I got up and made breakfast and a pot of coffee.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I could follow this guy to the left around all day long. Nice cheeks …. 😉
I’ve spent most of my morning writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress, and now lunchtime is approaching. It’s a beautiful day outside–sunny, with a light breeze, and an air temperature around 75 degrees F. This afternoon, I will definitely take a walk on the beach to enjoy the great weather. And who knows, maybe I’ll encounter on of the guys in today’s photo posts. 😉
All right, everyone, I need to get some things done around here–laundry, cleaning up the kitchen, and those sorts of mundane tasks. So I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Saturday, wherever you might be today. And keep a smile on your face, it’s important.
