Hi, friends and readers:
It’s funny, you get a couple of young men into the great outdoors, in a private setting, and the next thing you know–off go the clothes. Getting naked in nature land is a liberating feeling, and the boys in the upper photo here certainly seem to be enjoying themselves, don’t they?
Nature is on my mind this morning because tomorrow, quite early, I will climb into my fully loaded Honda Element, then cruise 80 miles northward to a marina where I keep my boat. Then I’ll travel to my fishing camp, a six mile boat trip from the marina. I’ll spend three nights there with friends, and I’m certainly looking forward to the experience.
The movie I watched last night, All the Money in the World, was mildly entertaining, but I would not watch it twice. It seemed to last forever, and I nearly fell asleep before it ended. After it did, I climbed into bed with a book and read for 45 minutes before I turned off my nightstand lamp and quickly fell asleep.
I will devote a good part of today getting things organized for my fishing trip. I’ll load up as much as I can in my car today, so I can get out of here early tomorrow. My only stop in the morning will be to buy live shrimp to use as bait tomorrow and Tuesday.
By the way, how’d you like to go hiking with Mr. Buns to the left here? He certainly seems to be enjoying himself too.
It’s another perfect winter day here in central Florida. The sun is shining, the temperature’s around 75 degrees F, and the wind is minimal. After lunch, I plan to take a three-mile walk. And around four PM I’ll take a two-mile run for more exercise. Tonight, I plan to visit my timeshare down the street for a soak in the hot tub. Nice day, huh?
All right, everyone, I need to get busy packing for my fishing trip, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Sunday, wherever you might be today. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂
