Hot boys at the beach; nice day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Considering where most of you live, the thought of visiting a beach today would seem ludicrous, but not where I reside. I live on a barrier island on Florida’s west coast, and yesterday our high temperature was 76 degrees F. I took a three-mile walk around one PM and the shore was mobbed with sun worshipers in swimsuits. Of course, it’s too early in the year for Spring Breakers to arrive, but they’ll start arriving in another six weeks or so. In the meantime, I’ll have to enjoy the local boys.

I had a fine meal with my friend last night. I had chicken cacciatore and we shared a nice bottle of Italian red wine. We had so much to discuss that the time flew by, and when we departed the restaurant I realized we had been there two hours.

By the way, do you find the guy to the left here as appealing as I do? Great hair and skin, and just the right amount of muscle. Definitely boyfriend material …. 😉

I woke to the sound of rain pelting my roof, early this morning. It felt so peaceful I switched off my alarm and slept in late. Okay, I didn’t get much done in the writing department, but I read the entire newspaper and solved the L.A. Times crossword puzzle, so at least I gave me brain a workout.

I have errands to run this afternoon: Home Depot, an alterations shop to have work done on new valences I bought for my sun porch, and the plant nursery to buy a shrub for my patio. When I get home, I’ll take a two-mile run, here on the island, and then I’ll do some yard work.

Tonight, I’ll join two friends for the evening. We’ll drink beer and wine and buy ourselves some takeout for our dinner, and our host will have a blaze going in his fire pit. It’s always fun.

Have a nice Thursday, friends.

Hot guys showering; busy day for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

When I lived in my fraternity house in college, all the guys bathed in gang-style showers. No modesty there. Many of my brothers were athletes with amazing bodies, and I always looked forward to shower time in the evening. Watching water stream down all that smooth and sinewy flesh was nothing less than stellar. 😉 Okay, I was a wicked little fag, but so what?

I’ve had a very busy day, it’s the reason I am posting at close to six PM.  My handyman arrived at nine AM this morning, with two projects to complete. The first was installation of a new, metal screen door on my front porch. The second and more difficult task was to trim the Travertine marble on my living room fireplace, which involved him using a small circular saw while I sprayed water on the blade. I put down drop cloths in advance, but the marble dust flew everywhere and took me a while to clean up.

Now everything in the living room is back to normal and I am able to clean the glass in my fireplace’s front panel, so one can clearly see the logs inside glowing. I’ve put this project off for years, and now it’s done. I’m so happy. 🙂

Around 1:30 PM I took a three-mile walk, here on the island, for some exercise. The weather was amazing–sunny, breezy and about 76 degrees F. It felt great being outside and breathing the fresh air.

On the way I passed a a home being remodeled and I asked the owner if I could come back and gather some scrap lumber to burn in my fire pit. He said, “Sure, why not?” So I came back with my car and loaded up. You can’t beat free firewood, can you?

I spent 90 minutes doing yard work after my return, and now everything looks good.

This evening, I am having dinner with an old friend at our favorite Italian restaurant. They have a “Wine Wednesday” special where you can buy a bottle of wine for half-off, and I’m really looking forward to our meal. I’ve known my friend since middle school, and he’s a retired lawyer like me, so we never run out of things to discuss.

Have a great Wednesday night, friends. And don’t forget to take a shower. 😉

Sexy guys with pretty eyes; sunny morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I’m a sucker for guys with dark brown eyes, I always have been, though I don’t know why. But I can certainly appreciate the appeal of young men with eyes of different colors, like the two in this morning’s photo posts.

Mr. Hoodie to the left here certainly has interesting eyes, almost gray in color, and quite enchanting. Imagine making love to him while your gaze locks onto his and the bedsprings squeak? I’ll bet he can do amazing things with that tongue of his too. 😉

Here’s a guy with ice blue eyes, and how lovely he is. I know, he’s skinny, but he’ll put on some muscle in a year or two. Guys like him always do.

I watched an excellent film on Netflix streaming last night, titled God’s Own Country. The main characters are two men in their early twenties. One is English, from Yorkshire, and his family owns a sheep farm. The other hails from Romania and hires on as a farmhand. The two start out loathing each other, but they end up becoming lovers. It’s a tense film, especially because the Irish guy struggles with his sexuality. I won’t spoil the outcome, but the film is worth seeing, as long as you don’t mind some gory moments involving sheep-raising.

It sunny and cool on the island today, and we’re approaching noontime. I spent all morning writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress, and I had an unusually productive session at the keyboard. After lunch, I will run a few errands: paint store, hardware store, and supermarket.

Here’s one more guy with grayish eyes, the famous Russian porn model known as Vova. This photo was taken many years ago, when he was barely eighteen. He had the most amazing rear end back then. I wonder where he is today? Probably living with some oligarch. 😉

On Tuesdays, I usually have dinner and go to the movies with a good friend, but this week he’s busy and can’t go. I’ve decided I’ll go into town by myself for dinner, and then see a movie that looks interesting, The Green Book. I just don’t feel like spending the evening at home, so why not get my butt out the door?

All right, everyone, it’s time for me to prepare nice lunch for myself, and then I’ll get to my errands. I have some yard work to perform after my errands, so I will stay busy. Have a nice Tuesday, wherever you are, friends. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂

Another Manu Rios photo; chilly night on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Well, if you wondered what kind of a body Manu Rios owns, have a look to the left here. Is he perfect, or what? If he were my boyfriend, I’d never let him wear a shirt. 😉 I’d also ditch those ripped jeans he’s wearing because they look stupid on him.

I had a great workout at the YMCA, but since today was a school holiday, the kiddies were in the pool and I  didn’t get to swim laps. 🙁  After I hit the wine market, I came home intending to take a walk on the island for more exercise, but a cold wind was blowing out of the east, and I decided to play my guitar in my warm house instead. (Hey, music’s nice, right?)

It’s getting dark outside right now, and the temperature is dropping as the sun sinks into the Gulf of Mexico. Right after I finish this post, I will hop into the shower. I’ll put on some warm and comfortable clothes and spend a quiet night at home. I plan to watch a Netflix movie and enjoy a home-cooked meal, a chicken dish I really like.

Have a nice Monday night, friends.

Beautiful Manu Rios; chilly morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

A few days ago I posted photos of guys with sexy lips, and I later found out that one of the guys in the photos was a Spanish TV actor named Manu Rios. That’s him you see here to the left. I think he’s a beautiful young man–great hair and skin, slender frame, and those lips. Aye-yi-yi, I could smooch with him all day long.

Yesterday, the weather was so nasty I barely ventured outdoor. The sky was overcast, the wind blew pretty hard, and the temperature was cold. I watched the two NFL conference championship games, and they were pretty good, but I was disappointed Kansas City lost. 🙁

This morning, it’s quite chilly outside, somewhere around 55 degrees, but the sun is shining and the breeze has died down, so it’s not too bad out there. I just finished writing for the day, and now I will read the morning newspaper and solve the crossword puzzle.

Since today is Monday, right asfter lunch I will climb into my Hondas Element and drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. I’ll visit the wine market on my way home, to replenish my supply, and then I’ll come home. I don’t have any plans for my evening, other than to watch a movie on Netflix. Have a great Monday, everyone.

Guys fast asleep; blustery day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

There’s something quite beautiful about a young man who’s fast asleep, and unaware you are looking at him. I guess it’s because his usual masculine defenses are not in operation.

When I lived in my fraternity house in college, I shared a room with a very handsome guy named Jon. He was from south Florida, a little west of Miami, and he was an habitual nap-taker. I’d come home from classes and Jon would be snoozing away in his bed, either naked or wearing a pair of skimpy briefs. I’d sit at my desk and watch him breathe and it was almost a spiritual experience. Jon, where are you today?

Last night’s alley party was an unqualified success. We had about 45 adults and a half-dozen kids. The food was stellar, and the beer kegs flowed. A restaurateur contributed a case of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and I built a nice blaze in my fire pit. Our guests loved it all, and so did I. This was our first alley party in over a year, and I enjoyed the hell out of it.  Thankfully, the weather stayed nice until everyone went home.

I woke this morning to high winds and a chilly temperature. A cold front has entered central Florida and tonight the low will be in the 40’s, cold for our area. I don’t have a lot planned for my Sunday, other than dining on leftovers and watching the NFL conference championship games, which should be interesting.

Normally, I would take a two-mile run or maybe walk three miles for exercise, here on the island. But it’s so nasty outside I plan to remain indoors. I’ve just finished reading the Sunday newspaper, and I’ll do some editing on my novel-in-progress before the first football game starts around three PM.

Have nice Sunday, everyone.

Boys with sexy lips; neighborhood party tonight at Martin’s ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Call me a romantic, but I think kissing a guy with pretty lips is about the sexiest thing I’ve ever experienced. I like playing with a guy’s ears and running my fingers through his hair while we kiss. Imagine doing that with the guy to the left here? I’ll bet he’d like it just as much as I would. 😉

Well, my dinner party last night was a total success: good food and wine, nice blaze in the fire pit, and wonderful weather. My guests were here till midnight, and I went to bed as soon as I finished cleaning thing up.

I slept until 9:30 this morning, and I need the rest after yesterday’s activities. Plus I will be a busy guy today. About once a year, all of my neighbors put together an “alley party” in front of my house.

This afternoon, I will string lights from the trees in the alley and help set up tables and chairs. We have two kegs of beer and a tap wagon outside my front door. We’ll block off the alley with barricades and about 40-50 people will attend. Everyone brings food to share and bottles of wine. I’ll have music playing on my front porch, and the festivities will likely go on well past midnight. It looks like the weather will be perfect–70 degrees and dry.

I am making a special mac-and-cheese dish with ground beef and sauteed veggies that is always tasty, as my contribution to the food tables. I have great neighbors and feel lucky to be a part of the party. .

All right, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Saturday, wherever you might be today. If you have a boyfriend with nice lips, be sure to give him a kiss for me. And keep smiling, it’s important.

Another boy in an a-shirt; fire pit and barbecue party at Martin’s tonight ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Well, if you like guys in a-shirts, then I know you’ll enjoy the photo to the left. He’s a lovely lad, with amazing lips, and he looks good in that shirt, doesn’t he? And those lips. Aye-yi-yi …. 😉

I had a great workout at the YMCA but didn’t get to swim laps because the pool was too crowded. 🙁 I went to the supermarket afterward, to stock up for the weekend, and then I came home to the most beautiful afternoon. I’m having friends over for dinner and a patio fire, and I had some preparations to do, so I kept busy for an hour or so before I hit the shower. Now everything’s ready for my guests’ arrival, and we’ll have a fine evening, here on the island.

Outside, it’s about 65 degrees and still. A nearly-full moon is up and the skies are clear, a perfect evening for our gathering. I sure feel lucky to live where I do, and to have the friends I’m hosting tonight.

Have a great Friday night, friends.

Hot boys in a-shirts; beautiful morning on the island …

Hi, friends and readers:

Certain guys have bodies made for wearing a-shirts, like the two in this morning’s photo posts. I mean, have a look at the guy to the left: great arm and shoulder muscles, defined chest, and a flat belly. The shirt shows it all off so nicely. Imagine spending a day with him? Aye-yi-yi …. 😉

I had a fine evening at my friend’s house last night. I especially enjoyed the blaze he had going in his fire pit. The night was cool but not frigid, so the fire was just right. We dined on Mexican fare, and I was home by 9:30 PM. I did a little editing before climbing into bed with a book and a bottle of water, and it wasn’t too long before I found myself yawning and decided to kill the lights. I was off to dreamland in about five minutes.

Okay the guy to the left here doesn’t have the sculpted body the boy in the top photo does, but e still does that a-shirt justice. Yummy …. 😉

This morning was one of those when the words just flowed out of my brain as soon as I sat down at the keyboard. I wrote for 2-1/2 hours, nonstop, and I’m quite pleased with what I wrote. I love days like that. Now I’m done writing for the day, and it’s nearly lunchtime.

Outside, the sun is shining, the air is still, and the temperature’s around 65 degrees F, just beautiful. I hope it stays this way because I’m having three friends over for a blaze in my own fire pit, and for dinner. I’ll grill pork chops and team them with mac & cheese and fresh asparagus. Talk about yummy …. 🙂

Have a great Friday, everyone.

Another slender guy; Martin’s off to the city ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Sorry if the resolution in the photo to the left is a bit fuzzy, but the guy is so cute I couldn’t resist putting the photo up for everyone’s viewing pleasure. Sure, he’s skinny, but he has broad shoulders and a killer smile, and I like the way his jeans are hanging low on his hips too, as though he’s tempting you to take them away from him for a few hours. 😉

I didn’t get all my errands completed today because I spent almost an hour in a framing shop/art studio choosing new frames for the two watercolors that hang in my bedroom. The owner helped me find just the right framing material, and although it’s dreadfully expensive stuff from Italy, the new frames will improve the appearance of the watercolors and my bedroom immensely. Hey, I may as well give my little boyfriends something nice to look at besides me when they visit here. 🙂

Anyway, I did succeed in buying some new athletic clothing for cool weather, and also a new pair of shorts for the gym. I bought some new socks at a department store. All these things were badly needed, so the whole trip was worth it. The supermarket can wait until tomorrow.

Have a nice Thursday night, friends. I’m off to the city ….
