Another lovely black-and-white; Martin’s off to the city again ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I really like the photo to the left, though I am not entirely sure why. I think because it captures the model engaged in a simple daily activity in his bathroom. I believe he’s applying toothpaste to his toothbrush. Anyway, I like his slender physique and his shaggy hair. He reminds me of a guy I once had an affair with during my law school days in Tallahassee, one that ended badly, I’m afraid, when his wife found out he and I were getting intimate on the sly. πŸ™ I wonder where Chris is today?

It’s twenty past five PM here, and I’m fresh out of the shower. I’m having a drink before climbing into my Element and heading into town to share dinner with my friend. I had a busy afternoon running around the city: home furnishings store, exchanging an empty propane tank for a full one, buying ethanol free gas for my boat, buying a few hardware items at two locations, and visiting the supermarket to buy the last items I will need for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and my fishing trip I’ll leave on December 26th. Whew … πŸ™

All right, everyone, have a nice Thursday evening, and don’t forget to brush your teeth. πŸ™‚

A beautiful guy in black-and-white; gloomy day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I don’t know who the young man in today’s photo posts is, but he certainly is beautiful, isn’t he? I like everything about him, his facial features and athletic body, his spooky eyes and shapely lips. Aye-yi-yi, I think I’m in love …. πŸ˜‰

My relatives and I shared a wonderful evening last night, first next door, and then at my place. I had the fireplace going and my Christmas tree lit up, and our Gulf grouper dinner was, as always, delicious. After my guests left, I cleaned up the kitchen, then listened to some Christmas music while I traded text messages with anΒ  out-of-town friend who needed to share his sorrows with me. I didn’t mind, Hey, that’s what friends are for, right? Anyway, by the time we finished texting it was close to one AM, and I trundled off to bed.

I didn’t wake up until well past ten this morning. Rain was pounding my roof and my bed felt so comfortable I just lay there for another 45 minutes, thinking about all I must accomplish in the days ahead. This afternoon, I have a slew of errands to run in preparation for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and a fishing trip I’m embarking on the day after Christmas.

Since today is Thursday, I will spend my evening with my oldest friend, who lives in the city. Hopefully, the rain will let up by the time I visit him, so we can enjoy a blaze in his fire pit. We’ll drink a few beers and dine on Greek cuisine, and we’ll have a fine time, as always. Then, around nine PM, I’ll drive home and spend a little quiet time, reading in bed.

All right, everyone, I need to get myself ready to run errands, so I will close this post by wishing all of you the happiest of Thursdays, wherever you might be today. And keep smiling, it’s important.
