Since people liked my “backpack” photos I posted here this morning, I decided to put up one more this afternoon before I get myself ready for the evening ahead. I really like this photo a lot. The young man is handsome, wit a great build and a mop of bushy hair I’d love to run my fingers through. I wonder if he knew someone took this photograph of him? Since it was taken in a pubic setting, I would guess not.
I just got back from a two-mile run, here on the island. Conditions were perfect: sunny, still and cool. In a few minutes I will jump in the shower, and then I’ll get myself ready for the evening’s festivities.
As mentioned this morning, my closest relatives are staying with me a couple of nights, occupying my vacation rental apartment next door. We’re going to downtown St. Petersburg, where we’ll visit a rooftop bay that overlooks the bay, for a drink or two. We have six PM dinner reservations downstairs, and then we’re due at a nearby performing arts venue, to see our opera company’s annual holiday concert.
It’s all going to be fun, friends, and I hope your holidays are filled with similar events. Have a great Tuesday evening. 🙂
I love the look of a guy who is shirtless and wearing a backpack on his shoulders. I don’t know why, but I find it extremely sexy, and I especially like the guys in today’s photo posts. I mean, check out Mr Green Boardshorts to the left here: lean body, great skin and hair. He has it all, and I like the way his backpack’s hanging from one shoulder. I wonder if he has a boyfriend?
I had a very nice evening yesterday. After I got home from the YMCA, I put on my Santa cap and delivered tins of home-baked Christmas cookies to my neighbors, seven different households. It was fun, chatting with all of them and watching them smile when they received the cookies. Afterward, I prepared one of my favorite casseroles, and hosted my friend and neighbor for a bit of wine drinking and dinner. I had my Christmas tree lit up and Christmas music playing on the stereo, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The meal was pretty good, too. 🙂
I went to bed pretty early last night. I read for a bit before falling asleep, and I didn’t wake up until my alarm went off at eight AM. After I grabbed the morning newspaper and brewed myself some coffee, I got busy writing new material for my novel-in-progress, now at 70,000 words ad still not close to completion.
I have a great afternoon and evening ahead of me. Relatives are coming to stay at my vacation rental today, and this evening we’ll dine out in downtown St. Petersburg, at one of my favorite restaurants. Then we’ll attend a Christmas concert put on each year by our local opera company. It’s always a fine performance and a great way to stoke my Christmas spirit.
