Beautiful guys in black-and-white; typical Monday in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

If you follow this site then you know I’m a huge fan of quality black-and-white photography, especially when a photo’s subject is a handsome young man. At least once a week I like to put up a pair of photos I especially like, and since this is Monday, I thought perhaps I could brighten your day with a couple of my favorites.

The young man to the left here is a a model who was frequently photographed several years ago. I don’t know his name, but he certainly is appealing. Does anyone know who he is? He has beautiful skin and hair, and just the right amount of muscle. Yummy …. 😉

I spent a quiet night at home yesterday, dining on baked chicken I flavored with fresh rosemary from my patio. I enjoyed a bottle of Sauvignon blanc with my meal, and watched a little Sunday night football, but I was kind of tired and went to bed early.

I know the photo to the left here is a bit odd. Why is the boy wearing plastic wader boots, and what’s he up to in the water like that? But he is classically handsome, with broad shoulders and toned muscles, and I love his facial features. I’d go fishing with him any day of the week if he’d show up dressed like that. 😉

Today will be a typical Monday for me. I’m done writing for the day and I have read the newspaper, and in just a few minutes I’ll make a light lunch for myself. Then, around 12:45, I will drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. Now that all my summer/fall travels are over, I am dedicating myself to getting more fit, and the YMCA is a big part of that. I need to lose just a few pounds, and I want to get my cardio system operating at peak strength, now that cooler weather is finally arriving. Last night, it was so nice to enjoy the cool breeze and lower humidity. I love this time of year. 🙂

Have a nice Monday, friends.

  1. The Model’s name is Zander. Photographed by Terry Smith, from San Diego, CA. Terry has a project titled America’s Finest Kids, and a documentary film in post production about the process of “photographing youth culture as art” of kids who mostly look like they’re living on the edge. They are all stunning photos. You can get a sample on the ModelMayhem site. https://www.modelmayhem.com/americasfinestkids
You can also support the film with donations.
