I really like the look of an attractive young man sauntering about with his ball cap turned backward. I’m not sure why I find it so appealing, perhaps because the backward cap lends a guy an air of irreverence, but I think the two young men in today’s photo posts look great in their caps. Yummy!
I shared a quiet evening with my next door neighbor last night, and got myself to bed at a reasonable hour. This morning, I slept until nine o’clock, I guess I’m still getting rid of my jet lag. (Remember, I only arrived back in the U.S. a week ago, after three weeks in Europe.)
Anyway, I feel rested and ready for a relaxing Saturday. And no, I won’t be wearing my ball cap backward. That style, in my opinion, should belong solely to guys under the age of thirty.
Outside, it’s a typical early September day–hot, sunny and humid. And way to steamy for outdoor yard work. I will stay indoors and work on a few housekeeping projects that require my attention. I may watch a little football on TV as well, if I can find a good game.
Tonight, I will take leftovers over to a friend’s house who lives about eight miles north of me, in a neighboring beach community. Before we dine, we’ll visit an open-air bar, right on the beach, where live music always plays and the drinks are inexpensive. We’ll enjoy the music and watch sunset, then return to my friend’s house to enjoy our evening meal.
I have know my friend since I was eight years old. We grew up in the same neighborhood in west St. Petersburg, and we always enjoy each other’s company. Okay, everyone, have a great Saturday, wherever you might be today.
